Very easy to assemble. Having never used one before i found it to beat all expextations of what it would do. It had no problem cutting thru a 3/8 " plate. Nice clean cut . Would highly reccomend this machine.

I bought this cutter just because of the good reviews. I unpacked it and it was easy to hook up everything,didnt even need instructions. Pluged it in ,hooked the air up and started cutting .sweet little rig.

Actually works really well cuts what it says to cut and for the price was expecting it to cut less I tried a small cut on 1/2in to test and cut nice only realistically bought to cut at most 1/4 in max and cuts that great at 220 haven’t tried 110 but it uses the consumables

This is my second unit, the first lasted 5 min. and fried the circuit board. Could not get warranty from the California seller. So, this one I bought from Home Depot because I know they stand behind the products they sell. I have only used it on 110 volts so far and was very pleased with the performance. Very clean cuts on 16ga diamond plate, exactly what I wanted. I would certainly recommend this to a friend.

It is still cutting very good after a lot of use. I would recommend this cutter to anyone interested in buying one. For the price you can't go wrong.

Machine run nice , good for the handyman

Machine works great. Wire guard for nozzle does not work that well. I am using my dryer plug for power. Bought a dryer cord and put an L6-30R adapter on the end. Works great.

After weeks of searching reviews and videos I finally settled on the Lotos LTP5000D. The brand name machines like Lincoln and Miller were out of my price range and the capacity of the Eastwood and Harbor Freight tools in the same price point did not compare so I ordered the Lotos. I could have saved a few bucks going through ebay but with longer shipping and questionable customer service I decided to buy through Home Depot. It came within a week. I did initially have a problem trying to use the machine on 110v which could very easily have been my poorly made adapter. Once I did get the wiring right (I went with 220V since it was easier and I already have a long heavy duty 220v extension cord) the machine works amazing. It is much smaller than I expected, and it is admittedly built to a price point, but it does what they say it will do. I tested the machine and it was capable of an honest 3/4 inch SEVERANCE cut with patience and proper technique. I have used this much more than I even thought I would, for many things I'm sure it wasn't intended to do. Late night rush and frustration led me to use it to cut severely rusted u-joints from axle shafts which as sketchy as it sounds was much SAFER and much faster than using the press. It was also invalueable at removing rusted shocks that were inaccessible any other way and simply spun when trying to break the rusted hardware loose. The time and money ($3 cut off wheels and $10 sawzall blades add up in a hurry) I have saved in just 2 months have probably come close to paying for the machine already. I recommend ordering the extra consumables set when you order the machine as there is definitely a learning curve to proper technique. I use mine with a home made cart to keep it up off the floor and keep all the needed accessories (helmet, gloves, soapstone, and pliers) together. I am also planning on making a longer ground cable as the factory 6 foot cable is a bit silly. Overall, I am simply ecstatic with the Lotos and would recommend it to anyone on a budget. Oh, one last thing, DEFINITELY get the pilot arc system. Especially if you work with painted or rusted materials. Yes, it's a little more up front, but in the long run (not even that long really) you WILL save money in consumables and hassle since you do NOT need to grind the cut line clean (though you DO still need a good clean spot for the grounding clamp). I gave it a 4 out of 5 because of the odd wiring adapter it requires and the short ground cable. Both of which are easily modified to suit your needs.

Great little unit worked as expected, but you must be able to provide enough amperage to operate it.

Ordered this plasma cutter on 6/1/17. It took 9 day to receive the cutter. when we opened the box and pulled it out of the box and the pilot arc didn't work. Now i have to return the unit and reorder another unit.

It works great. Wasn't anything hard to setting it up and have had no trouble out of it.

I read a lot of reviews before I bought this plasma cutter. So far so good been cutting 10 gage and 1/4" plate. The ground cable is only about 6' long, and the power cord is about 3' to 4'long. Had this machine for about a week now and used it quite a bit. Cuts just as good as the top of the line plasma cutters. The torch cable is about 10' long. The tip stays clean as long as you don't touch the tip to the material that you are cutting.. I'm happy with this machine.

I have had this cutter for a little over a month now. I have put this thing through some serious work....and it just keep on cutting! I went back and forth for along time deciding whether to spend 1200 to 1800 on a big name brand or take my chances on this one. I heard all the arguments about how oh this unit is made in China and is a piece of garbage...but if you think about it almost everything electronic is made in China...I don't see people saying oh I phones are garbage cause they are made in China!! Well I'm glad I took the chance on this little unit. Time will tell on longevity but for now I would recommend to anyone

This item came with everything I needed except a plug for my outlet. It did come with a standard 30 amp style plug though. It's so much nicer than a oxy acetylene torch and can also cut aluminum. It is light weight so its easy to move around the shop. So far I like it.

Have not had alot of time to use this yet, but very impressed with how well it has performed so far. Easy to set up, and cuts well. Only thing that I would like to see would be a longer ground cable. It's about half the length of the torch cable. Much more compact size than I had anticipated. Would buy this again

Was surprised on how well it functioned right out of the box aside dropping my torch head breaking the ceramic shield it worked with out and was to finish the cuts I had to make.

The cutter came quickly and was in good shape with no damage of missing items. Setup was easy and quick. I fooled around and cut some scraps of various thickness but nothing bigger than 3/8 so far. It works as advertised and cuts easily and quickly. I am using 240 volts on a 40 amp breaker in my garage that I use for my MIG and stick units so far so good. The only complaint is that the 1 mm off set rings are poor at best

I weld and fabricate on a semi regular basis. I have owned this unit in the past as well as the non pilot arc. This unit did not work out of the box. Had a fault in the motherboard. The past unit worked ok on clean light metal. Thick metal it struggles. I would invest in a decent drier regardless. Consumables are not available locally. Ok for money.. i will be buying a name brand

This plasma cutter was easy to assemble and performed exactly as advertised. I had never used a plasma cutter before this purchase and was astounded at how easy it was to use. My lines were straight and easy to clean up with minimal grinding. Thanks for a great product!

I wasn't sure if this plasma cutter would be up to the task, I had to repair truck frame rails which were rusted out. This blew through the steel like butter, pilot arc feature definitely worth the extra money for this model. Not sure how it would work on household current, we converted to 220v dryer plug.
