Good ladder. Relatively light weight and worked well to clean the gutters on a 1 story building. Overall I gave it 4 stars because I dont like the plastic catches.

The ladder is a lot heavier then I expected and the rung locks are entirely plastic. Concerned that those will wear out and fail. Will return and go with a ladder that comes with aluminum rung locks.

It was not design like the old one therefore the center of gravity was off making it hard to move. I total do not like it.

I've had this 32' Louisville Type 1 ladder for about 15 years. I use it primarily to hang hurricane shutters in South Florida. I store it in my garage. It has been a great ladder and still functions well. I am a heavy guy and consistently climb with about 30-40 pounds above the rated amount and it holds me fine. This is not an endorsement or recommendation to exceed the listed load limit. I'm simply telling you what I do. It's been a solid ladder. The only downside is the weight. It weighs 60 pounds, but feels like a 100 with the awkwardness of this ladder's height. You must be very strong to move this ladder on your own. I suggest you always have someone help you move it.

Seems fine after one day of use. Of course, the real test will be how well it's held up after, say, 10 years.

We bought this ladder for work and use it a lot. As an extension ladder, it is pretty simple and works for the purpose it is intended. We have only had it for a couple of weeks now. It has a lock on the locking mechanism to lock it in place for carry mode. My two negatives are 1. The weight - it's about 60 lbs and a little unwieldy, but that also comes with the territory of a 32 foot ladder, for what its worth this was the lightest one we could find. 2. The locking mechanisms are made of plastic. Although this may make the ladder lighter, I do wish we would have gotten one with a metal locking mechanism because I get the feeling that the plastic will wear out/break faster, whereas a metal mechanism would basically last forever. That is just my opinion and time will tell as far as the durability of the mechanism.
