My led lights were humming 240W. I thought a 250W...
My led lights were humming 240W. I thought a 250W switch would correct it. Didn’t happen.

Even though it seems the issue with wattage should have been fixed, we suggest making sure your bulb has been tested and approved by Lutron to provide the best dimming performance with your dimmer. There is currently no industry standard in LED manufacturing; since not all LEDs are designed the same, performance will vary with different dimmers. Because of this, we offer a list of compatible bulbs that we have tested to be compatible with our dimmers. To view this list of bulbs, please see our LED Compatibility Tool at lutron.com/ledfinder.

This switch will dim LEDs, but it makes them emit an annoying buzz. I returned this and installed a Lutron DVRP 253. It works great, and there is no buzzing.

Works great with LED bulbs
I installed this switch in our kitchen for our recessed lighting. We have 7 fixtures, so with a standard on-off switch it was often either too much light or too little. The switch installed easily, and the directions are very clear. I have all LED bulbs, and as advertised this switch is compatible. If you buy a dimmer that is not rated for LEDs, when dimmed very low the bulbs will actually turn off. With this switch, even when the dimmer is turned all the way down they still emit a little light.
