It performed as expected. I replaced my old 24 volt xenon puck lights with 24 volt LED bulbs and the old dimmer did not dim linearly, while the LED bulbs flickered. With this switch the LED bulbs dim more linearly and no longer flicker. I only have 2 wishes 1) the price seems rather high and 2) I wish they made this switch in the more common appearance with an on-off toggle combined with a small slide to do the dimming.

Eliminated humming noise on my Hyperikon BR40 LED bulbs, perfectly silent at all slider settings. The CL-style dimmer from Lutron generated too much audible humming. Unfortunately it doesn't dim quite as low as the CL style dimmer with my bulbs (the minimum setting on this slider is probably about 25% brightness with my bulbs) but it was good enough for my needs. Don't fully understand why it's not advertised as LED compatible, but it works great for me with dimmable LEDs.

My new LED vanity lights from WAC Lighting require an ELV dimmer. I tried the cheap C-L dimmer that Costco is selling in two packs, and that really didn't work: Cree bulbs scream, and very little control on the WAC dweLED. This dimmer works very well, so I might have to buy one for the dining room which uses Cree bulbs. Or it might be cheaper to find other bulbs for that use ;)

    No hum with dimmable LEDs
I picked this up as an alternative to the Lutron Diva CL dimmer switch. That switch resulting in a buzzing sound at all dimmer levels from our Cree dimmable recessed LED lights. After researching, I found that this was the switch to solve all buzzing problems. There is absolutely no buzzing with this switch, at any brightness. Worth the added cost! Just make sure you have a neutral line in your box. Only thing I noted was that the dimmer is not adjustable like the other CL dimmer switch was. I had no flicker or startup issues with this pre-adjusted switch though.

    Good dimmer
This is a good dimmer for some special application LED lighting fixtures. Recommendation, the wiring requires a white common connection to the lighting fixture circuit. Plan ahead to use 3 wire Romex rather than the more typical 2 wire switch wiring.

      Exactly what I needed
Good value, delivered as scheduled. Installation went without a problem. Glad to learn I could return it at my local Home Depot if necessary.

      Dims Cree bulbs without noise
Yes, this product is expensive. But after trying a good number of different dimmers, each one would leave the Cree bulbs humming angrily in my light fixture. This dimmer works without causing the Cree bulbs to buzz! Be advised: You will need a neutral connection in the box where you install this switch. My house (~15 years old) had the connection.
