More linear dmming action than lower power models
I had six 72W flat panel LED lights that I was going to use in 3 circuits of 2 each. So I bought the 150W 0-10V dimmer from LUTRON and was a little disappointed that most of the dimming was in the first 1/4" of travel and the rest of the travel (1"?) did very little. I needed more light (14' ceilings in a converted pole barn) so I added another panel to each circuit. This drove the watts per circuit from 144W to 216W, so I had to upgrade to this 450W switches. The unexpected benefit was that the new switches had linear dimming, the amount of dimming was distributed over the entire travel of the dimmer. It is much easier to get the exact amount of lighting now.

Used for my commercial LED panels that I installed in the basement, and it works perfectly. The electrician was not even familiar with the dimming commercial LED panels, so I was able to daisy chain the purple and gray wires from each panel. Dimming is necessary as the LEDs are BRIGHT!

I bought 2 drop ceiling LED light panels for my basement, and wanted to have a dimmer switch with them. Found out a typical regular fluorescent bulb dimmer will not work with LED lighting. This 0-10v dimmer switch is perfect and was very easy to install myself.
