Our fan speed controls are designed to control a standard 3-speed ceiling fan which only uses pull-chains to adjust its speeds. If a fan has its own remote or wall control, this typically uses a proprietary control technology and would likely be incompatible with our fan controls. Also, some fans have a built-in module or limiter that can't be controlled by other manufacturer's controls. We suggest you contact the fan manufacturer to find out if your fan can be controlled by a third-party fan control, such as this Lutron device.
