The first of these I bought fell apart after just two dry fittings so I returned it. In hindsight, I think a wood/aluminum version might have been the better choice for this door way, where rotted floor and framing had to be completely replaced due to previous threshold being installed incorrectly, allowing water to pool under the door.

Threshold parts
I used some of the wood parts to replace the broken plastic on the threshold. I had to modify the existing threshold to accept the screws but everything fit well. Am very happy with the results.

The adjustable oak strip split while adjusting. The hokey little washers on the adjusting bolts are a joke. I would never buy this again. There are better options out there—and this one was over-priced!

The Inserts to attach the adjusting screws that went into the bottom mdf stripped making the threshold worthless. Rather than trying it again, I bought a different brand from another retailer.

Adjust washers
Are you wondering how this adjusts? I finally figured it with the help of an Amz review. You need to put a screw in then hammer the washer down. I used sockets. A 7 or 8 mm on the screw head side, set on the ground, and a long socket over the threads, pressing on the washer. Then hammer it down. Be conscious of not breaking the wood. And try not to get it too tight. It makes the screw hard to turn. That's it, secret revealed. And when screwing onto the threshold, don't just screw 1 down without the others, as you don't want to overbend the wood. A bit of work, but it actually is adjustable.
