I used this product to cover my window sill which is below first floor level. The sill was getting damaged from weathering there is no water damage I cut the aluminum sill wth a hacksaw after taking measurements with a ruler and placed it over the existing sill and angled it so it slopes downward to divert any water away from the windows. Now the sill is covered and the white aluminum sill looks great

It arrived bent in one end. This was bent before shipping as there wasn’t a thing wrong with the box! Don’t know if I will be able to use it or not

Easy to trim using a grinder and easy to install. Works great!

Seems durable enough but had to cut it as the actual length is 36 1/2”. I understand the extended length on lumber but expected this to fit a 36” doorway.

Well made , stayed straight and looked perfect when fitted to the extra wide oak threshold I made for the doorway

good sill nosing, should work to cover painted 2x6 sill, and not get that "worn-off-paint" look, over time.... just have to cut it off, about 1/4" on one end, and then loosen the existing threshold, slide the end of this nosing UNDER IT, then fasten the threshold down onto it, and then will have to drill 2 or 3 holes in the end of this sill nose, to attach it to end of 2x6 sill...(it comes with 0 holes drilled in it, as it should)

It’s perfect for my wood window sill to protect the sill from my dogs standing up at it and scratching the wood with their long nails!! I just love it, and would certainly order more again, if needed.
