Replacing the cartridges to stop your leak/drip is normal maintenance for your product. Cartridges do not have a life expectancy as a number of factors can cause them to fail including quality of water, debris passing into it, and amount of use.       Installed this during our remodel. Love the features of this faucet. Reliability needs improving though. In 2 months it has failed twice! first time the batteries ran out in 2 days! This has since been fixed with a firmware update. Then the main control box failed. Moen Helpdesk were excellent in helping to diagnose it. They arranged a new box to be sent but it took 5 days even after paying for overnight express delivery! 5 days without water in the kitchen. Hopefully we are ok now as we love this product

        Two years old…disconnects from the network multiple times a day. Won’t shut off unless we unplug and reset…again multiple times a day. Has been nothing but trouble from the beginning. Why is it sold without the AC adapter. Batteries last about two weeks.

            Poor Craftsmanship
            I installed the unit; however, the entire unit would shift on the counter every time I moved the sprayer. I used the tool to tighten the mounting bracket, which became VERY loose. I looked at the unit again; the orange thread dropped out of the unit with three screws. I am not a very strong person, so concerned it would fall apart so easily. I will update you once I hear back from Moen.

              Poor Construction
              I installed the faucet, and it turned everytime I moved the want, so I tightened the mounting hardware with the installation tool by hand. It became VERY loose. I went to look at the unit, and the orange pipe from the faucet body fell out, with three screws. I looked at the installation manual to ensure I wasn't supposed to tighten the screws during installation, but it came pre-assembled...I am not a very strong person, and it is concerning it would just fall apart like that.

                Faucet stopped working
                This Fossett was installed three months ago. I did not hook it up to Wi-Fi. I went through three sets of batteries in three months. After I spoke with the service people I found out that I needed to hook it up to the Wi-Fi so it doesn’t search for a signal even though I don’t want to use all of the AI features it is now working. We’ll see what happens in the next couple months.

                    You must replace the batteries every month! It’s a pain in the … to replace batteries under a sink every month there is no way to over ride the function of “non-touch less” it wasn’t worth the money and costs about $7 a month on batteries

                      Beautiful with great features and some problems
                      We have owned this faucet for over a year. The best parts are the motion activation, the app tracking water use and the look. However, the app has lost connection to the faucet multiple times and now the biggest problem is that the faucet will sometimes just persistently leak instead of turning off all the way. It’s not old! This never happened with our other faucets and seems like poor manufacturing (not related to digital control). Lastly, we were disappointed that the battery packs would k my last 4-5 months. We ended up buying the adapter but it would be good if adapter was including in the origin price instead of being an additional 100 bucks. Last note - installation recommends a 3 foot clearance above the faucet. This probably fine for most folks, but if you have cabinets above your sink, just keep that in mind.

                        The faucet looks good. The no touch option is great. However, the smart faucet will not stay connected to wifi. Immediately disconnects after setting up on 5g and 2.4 networks. Very frustrating
