Totally useless, at least on Latex-Acrylic paint
Followed instructions, Lift-Off did nothing to loosen well-adhered latex-acrylic paint (over an enamel base coat). Wait 60 seconds (per instructions), nothing. Five minutes, nothing. Twenty minutes, nothing. Okay, to be fair, there were some spots where the paint was already loose enough to remove with a fingernail; Lift-Off may have made this bit 10% easier to remove ... but that's not the paint where I needed help!!! Total waste of money and time.

Dear Mike, we are always eager to learn what might have occurred to prevent you from removing the latex-acrylic paint from the surface that you described. We have some techniques that may assist with your project, including covering the surface (after applying Lift Off) with Saran Wrap. It acts as a bond for holding the formulation in place and allowing it to work more effectively. There are a variety of paints with special formulations that may require this extra step. You can also call our customer service department (800-227-5538) for assistance.

I purchased it to remove latex paint that was on top of oil based paint on metal. It took 4 or 5 applications of the latex paint remover to work and it required a lot of effort. It took off both the latex paint and the oil based. The manufacturer said it would remove only the latex paint.

Did an excellent job of lifting paint and caulk stains after an adjustment in use. First, letting it sit for 3-4 minutes rather than 60 seconds, was highly effective. Second, scrubbing with a brush worked even better. Lastly the smell was very pleasant.

MOTSENBOCKER'S Lift Off did not remove the latex paint that was on vinyl siding. Information on the bottle and on line said it would. GooGone graffiti remove actually worked better but not much. Have decided to paint the vinyl siding in the original color

Works great. Had to soak the parts for a couple of days due to many layers of latex paint. But the paint came right off. Rinsed with soap and water for easy clean up. Would recommend.
