I love these "short" fence plant pot hangers and the "long" pot hangers. I wanted something that did not attach permanently since we have our patio fence treated and restained each year. These 9" pot hangers are very sturdy and hold a 9.5" pot filled with soil and plant with no problem. They easily attach and detach from the fence. I purchased 9.5" pots to use with these 9" holders and they work perfectly.

These hanging pot holders are as easy as they come. No tools included because you don’t need anything special to hang them. However, it didn’t come with directions either, so I had to watch the video on Home Depot’s website to learn the proper way to install them. Keep in mind, these are meant for “shadow box” wood fences – those are the fences that have a slat on one side and then on the other, alternating so “hook” portion of the holder goes behind the slat on the front side. My fence is not that, but I made it work by finding slats with wider spacing or knots in the wood. They come in 2 lengths (17.5” and 2.75”) so you can stagger them for a less formal look and 3 diameters for pots (7.75”, 9” and 11.5”); my review is on the 9” size. The 17.5” long one you have to assemble but you’re just sticking the one piece into the other so maybe using the word “assemble” is overstating it. I like the neutral finish on the metal as it blends in with the fence and will not fight against the pot/flowers. For less than $10 each, I think this is a good price for this product and would recommend it. They’re an easy way to add some pretty color to your fence!

Wish it were available in more sizes. Nice product, though.

Just what I was looking for. Watching the video that shows how to hang the pot holders is a must. I only wish I had bought the larger size so they make more of an impact from a distance.

The manufacturer has creates a product with a nice finish on it. My biggest challenge was finding out the prerequisites for the type of fence that will allow it to be used as designed. The description should strongly highlight the fact that it is designed specifically for shadowbox wooden fences. This did not come with instructions so i created a different application by drilling a hole in my carport post in a way that the pot hanger holds the pots very well. The economical cost for this sturdy option is a great way to dress up a boring area.I would recommend this product, especially for use in the original designed use.

i just got this short fence pot hanger .WOW I was real surprise on how sturdy this pot hanger is . i am going to cut a bigger pot to make a shallow pot holder, out of the holder. To put it around my Bar B Q area . so when i am cooking, i will have fresh spices at my finger tips . I can see its going to workout great . This pot holder has a coated paint . I know it will not rust or stain my wood fence post boards on a wood deck. and look great for years ,.And i almost forgot to mention. it's very easy to install and take down if need , i live in Texas. the weather is never normal.

This did not come with instructions so i had to hunt online for how to use it...........def only use lightweight potting soil as i can see these warping your wooden fence........i like the idea but i also like my fence and feel lke this over time might warp the pickets........ill give it a shot and report back.....for the price this is def a cheap way to dress up a boring fence.

Really like this pot hanger. The back yard at my place has a long privacy fence. Because we have a lot of trees and shrubs at the fence line, there isn't a lot of sunshine that hits our yard directly. I got this pot hanger because I wanted to lift pots higher up where they could get sunshine. Score! Works well, and I plan to plant a small tomato plant in this pot.

What a great idea! This pot hanger fits on the shadow-style fences people use for privacy. That long wall of slats can be pretty boring, and this pot hanger lets you dress up the outdoor spaces with flowers. The ring fits several different sizes of pots, although some fit better than others. So you can rotate flowers by season without having to replant the pot. Just swap them out.

I would recommend viewing the video as to how to hang it. It does slant down slightly went installed which looks to be how it was designed from the video. Holds the pots very well and is sturdy once the pot is in place.

Got the 9 IN. DIA X 2.75 IN. H METAL SHORT FENCE POT HANGER MEDIUM IN BROWN FINISH early for spring and summer. This is just what I've been looking for to use on my deck. I plan to purchase more as they will look great on my deck with all the flowering pots! I love that now I can decorate my home this spring and summer with these sturdy and functional hangers!
