Sure, yours works now, and it's got an impressive little flame for precision work... but will find its way to the trash within a month. Mine kept giving me issues where it wouldn't light, or had to be all the way full in order to be lit. Then the cap wouldn't close. Then it failed completely and would spark, but not release the butane. I want to buy another one, but based on others reviews, I'm certain it will reach the same end. Pass this one up and look elsewhere.

In the world of miniature torch lighters, this is one of the best ones available that I've ever used - it actually doesn't break down after a week... it also does allow you to burn it for extended periods without breaking down either. I've run it for 15 minutes, let it cool and it starts right up again without a problem. You will notice that it doens't light back up if it's extremely hot - you need to let it cool first. Also, the unit is very well made - hard think plastic and metal - paint doesn't chip very easily and never had a part break due to being dropped, including right on concrete multiple times.... they recently redesigned the unit making the loop for the keyring much thicker so it is more secure. They also removed the ability to lock it in the on position - I do and don't like this - the feature was nice to have but a pain sometimes, but now it's gone I wish it was there from time to time... IDK - I guess I like the new design more no matter what. I included a photo of the back of the packaging showing the previous model with the locking feature for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about....

This lighter never lights on the first try and usually takes 4 or 5 tries before it finally lights. Also it will only work with the fuel adjustment near full open. It will not light nor will it stay lit if turned down, must be at or near full blast for it to work. The lever that locks it on is also misaligned and about to break off. I have had torches that costed $3 that were of far better quality than this one. I bought this today, will be returning tomorrow. Worthless piece of junk.

Can be very temperamental. Has adjust on bottom but had to separate know for adjustment from lighter and make it where I could adjust for more fuel than previously possible. Flame lock would have been a welcomed addition as well

Doesnt work filled with butane and nothing tried over and over returning tommorow save your time dont buy this junk i have seen same thing as this at flea markets and carnevals same junk shame on home depot for selling this junk

This thing is trash. I filled it with bernzomatic brand fuel and it has never worked right. Its been several days of trying and I've never had a flame last more than a few seconds. Save yourself the money

I've been looking for one of these for quite some time. The flame is exactly like a torch. It's good for using in several areas -- even for those who smoke (which I do not).

I will be returning this since it is not functioning correctly and it sounds like it has a leak.

I bought two one won't say lite. The other worked for a while and then quit working. I don't recommend this product.

Great concept but half the time it will not light... worked great for a few hours with fireworks but then it was a goner!!!

Doesn't stay on very long burns fuel fast but overall ok

This single flame lighter works great for several jobs. It has a safety that is easy to use that prevents accidental lighting.

Nice torch. Fits in pocket and gets hot enough to melt glass, and other things. Never had it fail because it got too hot.

Two weeks of really light use and the thing is useless. I bought it for the flame cover on top and the gas window at bottom, but those two features are useless if the thing won't light.

Ronson makes a much better product at a cheaper price this isnt much better than the torches they sell at the gas station

I've had this probably for half a year. It has ignited every single time. Never failed me once. The fuel adjustment does need to be open at least half. Otherwise it doesn't get enough fuel. Works very very good.

This is my 2nd one ... the first one I had was stolen. Filled with butane and let it settle, then adjusted the valve to the middle and it has worked as advertised ever since. The reason I gave it a 4 is that the one that I bought does not have the continuous flame button. Don't really need it though. BTW, Got a good laugh out of most of the negative reviews here. Quite interesting how some people think (or actually don't think).
