We had this microwave for about a month. as you can see, the Stop and Start buttons look worn out. The plastic coating over them is peeling and the 'words' are losing their sharpness.

The extra size and power make a big difference. Quiet and efficient, I really like it !

I've had this microwave for around 3 to 4 weeks now, I am pretty happy with it, the only little thing I don't like is when I use the beverage button to heat water for coffee or tea, is not hot enough for me, it only warms the water for 50 something seconds, so I just add 30 seconds more and voila! So in conclusion yes, I'm happy with my purchase.

The only negative I have is that it takes a little extra time to cook than my previous microwave. It might have less wattage. Other than that I really like it. Very nice looking, a little bigger than I expected but it fits right in to my kitchen.

This microwave is really nice. It is bigger than my last one and I can use my microwave frying pan, roasting pan and my bacon fryer. I really like the stainless steel finish. It works wonderfully.

My 1.6 cu. ft. Panasonic was leaking radiation,, causing my wi-fi signal to drop out, which I believe to be an indication of the unit not being shielded properly. So when I began my search for a replacement, I knew it would not be Panasonic because I saw other Panasonic owners complaining of the same problem. The Magic Chef is 1.6 cu. ft. and was priced right. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but I don't need a lot of features. What drew me to this one was the handle to open the door (as opposed to a push button, which many people report problems), it's attractive, has a bright light when you open the door, and it's controls are straight forward. It literally took me a couple of minutes to unpack, set up and figure out how to use. And best of all, it doesn't knock out my wi-fi signal.

So far so good. I have only had this microwave for about a month. I had one I bought about 5 years ago that had all the bells and whistles which I never used. All of a sudden it stopped working and cost to have it repaired was rediculous. This one is perfect for me. Simple and easy and does the job. Last one had a confection oven I never used. People have complained that you can’t see into microwave while cooking. I’m short but still can see in, not that I need too so no problem for me there. Anyhow I really do like this one a lot. Here’s hoping the microwave and I will have a long happy relationship.

I love my Magic Chef. My previous product was a Magic Chef microwave, which I had for over 30 years. So far, I am loving this one too, with ease of use due to the settings and big enough for my cooking needs. I've had it for a couple of weeks.

Nice and roomy for our dinner plates and tall enough for coffee cups. I was tired of hitting the inside top of our smaller unit with my coffee mug. It heats well in a short time. Looks nice on the countertop. Matches are other stainless steel appliances. Love this microwave. It's a good value too.

About 8 years ago, I had the same model that was my absolute favorite microwave I have ever had. Once it died, I couldn't find another one and had to put up with two low quality microwaves. So when I saw that this microwave was available and it was half the cost I paid years earlier, I was thrilled! As far as I'm concerned, this is the best microwave money can buy and I won't put up with any other models moving forward. It is large, powerful and has intuitive user panel, what's not to like? I recommend this microwave to anyone who needs one.

More than enough power. Nice design. Door is a bit light in weight so it sounds & feels like a tin can upon closing. All-in-all, a great value. Expectation is high that it will last several years.

My 25+ year old microwave finally died (sparks!). After researching several stores I zeroed in on this one for features and price. A little tinny (aren't they all) but if fulfills my criteria. Ordered in-store pickup online. Excellent price and it was ready at the service desk when I got there. 68 year old NH curmudgeon. Live Free and Dine!

Works perfect and cant beat the price for the size and power. My big fancy built in microwave broke and the repair/replace costs were ridiculous so we bought this for a fraction of the price and it has the same cooking power and size of the old one. Good buy!

We wanted a larger one, however it would not fit in the cabinet space (over by 1/4"). I was hesitant to get this one since smaller... but it is very spacious and does the job great! Nothing to big for it yet... very spacious inside.

The microwave meets our needs. If fits the space we have for it and has sufficient power and space to do the cooking we wish to use it for. Its price was reasonable and t goes well with our kitchen.

Purchased this for our office and it is great. The larger internal space makes it perfect for heating up larger items for office parties. Easy to set up, a breeze to use. The short cut buttons are wonderful! Not to mention the actual look of the microwave is clean and perfect for an office setting.

Fantastic price ! Runs quietly and cooks food evenly. Very satisfied with the quality and sleek look. Easy to use and clean. Wish this would have been my first microwave. Only flaw is the door slams a little on the hard and loud side.

I purchase the magic chef just over 2 years ago. It worked well until it started sparking and arcing. Off to the scrap yard. my last one was half the price and lasted 3 times longer. So it wasn't a great deal. So I went with a cheaper one see how long it last

We've had this microwave for about a month now and use it every day. We live in an apartment with no cook stove so this is our soul means of preparing all our meals which it does admirably. We particularly like the very quite operation.

I had purchased a top of the line microwave prior to this. This previous microwave had the inverter feature for defrost. Whenever the microwave was in use (inverter or just regular heating), our WiFi went out. I didn't think this would bother me at first but as I used it more and WiFi became more essential in our home, it became a huge pain. After a couple of burnt bags of microwave popcorn, I decided to just look for something relatively inexpensive. I found the Magic Chief 1.6 microwave and it seemed to have some decent reviews. For about 100.00 with a two year warranty, I thought, "why not". So far it has performed better than the last "top of the line" model that we had. I really like it and not once when it is running has it interfered with my WiFi. I would definitely say this microwave is worth a try if you are looking for a counter-top microwave.

Looking for a nice, bigger and low price microwave and I found it finally. Has all the features I need and looks very expensive. Where some people miss the continuous beeping reminder sound after food is done, I don't. I only need the beeping sound when food is done and not continue to remind me after every a couple minutes. It gets annoying. Also, I left the blue plastic covering the unit. I made sure it's not covering any holes or opening and it looks great.

this is a product with excellent characteristics and adqaute for my needs.
