Nice size and weight. I have 5ah but was looking for something smaller when working around the shop. Used it when installing a fence and it didn’t have enough run time. I mainly run Dewalt but Makita’s impact (XDT16) is really nice so this battery was a welcome addition.

Battery lasted all day while building a wooden swing set

First of all I only use makita cordless tools and I think they are great, but this one not so much, I bought this so I didn't have to carry around an air compressor for little jobs. It's bulky, heavy and doesn't sink nail heads. Even with a 5amp battery and the setting on it's lowest I couldn't sink 2" nail heads into 1/2" baseboard with a stud behind it. 2 1/2" nails weren't even closet to being sunk.

I just needed a small battery for my small apartment. I love it. It isn't bulky and give enough power to drive a few screws when needed.

I like it because it does the job I expected it to do.

Worked great for my existing Makita drill and impact driver. No reduction in ability to drive screws on drill holes from switching from 3ah

I went with this nailer since I have other Makita batteries and tools.Compared to a friends Milwaukee nailer this thing stinks.Never sinks the nail or misfires every other time.Tried trouble shooting tips and nothing.Very disappointed.Buy the Milwaukee

I dropped it one time and it fell apart. its to bulky. to heavy. it jams. should I go on? not the best but I hope the redesign this tool.

This is the first makita tool I have been unhappy with. The dewalt 16gauge angled nailer is light years ahead of this makita model. I know it’s their first battery 16 gauge nailer they have made but I wish I could get my money back. Misfires or doesn’t sink nails constantly.

I professionally do renovations and only use Makita tools. this thing is trash. doesn't sink nails. super heavy. really loud. can't get into tight places. this is really a poor example of Makita tool making.

I have used this on only one job. It performed well. I was shooting though old hardwood moldings into window casing. Can't atest to the longevity of it, but i have have a few other molding jobs coming up.

Excellent product. Only complaint would be the price

This small battery gives all cordless tools a light and maneuverable advantage over the high Amp models. Just make sure to have more than one handy.

Makita tools are the best

Battery is way too expensive.

Very light and comfortable to use

Love the idea of the product however, it didn’t sink the nail properly. We returned the nail gun.

Found this battery online cheaper, but needed to use it that day. I would have shopped around for a better priced one.
