To engage the Click Lock Joint usually best if a tapping block is used to ensure the tongue & lock system are engaged. Per install guide, If there is a slight gap along the edge joints, it can be eliminated with the help of a tapping block and a plastic mallet. Use caution to prevent impact damage.

French Oak Rincon is a whitewash French Oak, with character ABCD grading so when you receive a small 5 Inch x 7" Sample there is a chance it can be of the darker vs medium or light tones. Hardwood Samples are available online in a 5" x 7" format. Unless multiple samples are purchased it can sometimes be challenging to see the true color from such a small sample size. This 3/8” Thick Locking Collection features a 1.2mm Thick Sliced Face Veneer mounted on an HDF Core, with a hardwood back veneer. High Density Fiberboard (HDF) is an engineered board produced from resin bonded wood fibers under high pressure and heat and provides excellent joint integrity when the Click and Lock Profile is milled on the sides and ends. The 100% Real Hardwood is sealed with 7 layers of the latest super low gloss urethane finish with aluminum oxide, providing protection from everyday wear. Aluminum Oxide is dispersed in the urethane throughout the multi-layer finish process. If you look up the definition of Scratch resistant it essentially means that the product is able to withstand minor scratches. There are ways to prevent scratches on Hardwood Flooring by taking proper precautions to protect furniture and chair legs and feet with felt protectors. Moving heavy objects without a dolly and/or protective plywood beneath may cause damage to any type of flooring. Damage may also occur from spiked and/or high heels and pet claws.
