plan on two coats
This is a water based/cleanup bottle of luminous paint. It paints OK but goes on a bit uneven so it needs two coats as the instructions suggest. The bottle has a small squirt hole opening under the lid or you can unscrew the lid for a ⅜” opening which is fine for a small artist’s paintbrush. I painted it onto light switches, and flashlights. Remember, the paint has to be exposed to light in order for it to charge up to glow in the dark.

DID NOT WORK FOR ME
I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT TO PAINT SOME OUTDOOR GARDEN ROCKS TO GO AROUND MY BACKYARD POND. I APPLIED TWO COATS OF PAINT TO THEM AND THE PAINT DIDN'T GLOW AS I EXPECTED.

Not what I was looking for
I purchased this glow in the dark paint for a simple clock I purchased. After I read the reviews I was certain this was the product for me, but I was wrong. I was led to believe that I would buy this product, and once allowed to sit under florescent lighting; which supposedly activates it, it would continue to glow from there on out. What the reviews should have stated was, in order for the paint to glow in the dark, one has to continuously allow the painted item to be under lighting each time before they want their item to glow. For example I wanted my clock to glow all night long, not happening. I expose the clock to light, turn the light off it glows for a couple of minutes, and that's all.

fun for kid projects
This paint can be a lot of fun with little projects around the house. For instance, accenting Christmas ornaments.(FYI: It didn't work on my gunsights.)

Not what I was hoping for
I suppose I was hoping for more of a reflective finish than a glow finish. I painted some posts outdoors hoping to make them more visible at night and I didn't get those results.

Did not work for me
I picked this product for good use for testing. My back door does not have motion detection light and at dark I have difficulties to find the key hole. I also wanted to make visible at dark was my door bell (white on white frame) and the light switch located in group of other switches inches from the lvg rm. door. Following the instructions I applied with the small brush 4 layers of Glow-in- the-dark one by one on the door bell, switch and front of lock. The result was zero. No glow at all. In living room I turned the light on and then off and for brief time I could recognize in the dark some very faint glow of switch plate, practically useless. Outside I saw nothing. After Glow-in-the-dark were applied on white the white got green-yellowish tint. Dried painted surface stays slightly rough. The container carries symbol CE and AP. Information about symbols is on internet. But ordinary consumer like me wants to find on the bottle in the store how far product is safe for use in household, with kids, whether to wear protective gloves, what chemicals I am buying and so on… There is no info if this kind. When I left the container Glow- in-the-dark in my room on the desk the container was glowing almost all night.

Fun Glow in the dark paint
This is a great paint to add for special effects on any craft project. I used it in a few different ways. I painted stars on my kid’s ceilings. It is very cool to see the different constellations at night as they are falling asleep. You need to do at least two coats of paint for the full effect. If you do only one coat it looks speckled. The more layers the more vibrant it is when it glows-in-the-dark. It is best to wait a couple hours between coats. It has the yellow-greenish color when you paint it on things. I also used it on many Halloween crafts with my kids. It is easy to work with and very easy to clean up. If you happen to spill or splatter the paint, just turn off the light and you will know where to clean it up.

Ton's of Fun!
Halloween is my favorite holiday and this paint looks awesome on some skeletons I got last year. It goes on easy with a brush and cleans up with water. It's kinda tricky to determine how much to put on. I started with light coats and found that I needed to apply 2-3 times more than I expected. Gives off a nice eerie effect!

Great for any Glow in the dark needs
I did not use the paint yet bit i did a Test to see how well it glows and i plan to use it to paint hidden Exit signs and few safety areas when lighted area goes off the glow holds about 12-15 minutes tops I used a high powered head lamp to blast the bottle with light and turned off all lights and got this photo of the glowing bottle. MORE this paint responds well to UV light so want to paint in the dark Get a decent UV light and paint as it glows

Good amount of glow
We used this paint in a diorama. It gave off a good amount of glow in the dark. It was easily applied and went on smooth. I would recommend using for arts and crafts. For bigger projects you would want to find a larger size. It does exaclty what it is supposed to do.
