[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent value for money. We moved in to a new house and it was no brainer to get Maytag appliances. We are very happy with our washer and dryer so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased and installed this dryer so no long trem review here yet. So far this machine is doing it's job fine. There's only two things I would change about this machine: the first thing is the cycle end volume is barely audible (from another room) on its highest level (3). Ours is in our basement and that makes it difficult to hear when it's done. The second isn't that big of a deal but I have been used to having a light in every other machine I have had, this one does not have a light. We bought these to replace an older maytag epic washer and dryer that we bought in 2008. They both work but the washer fried a ribbon cable thanks to a mouse. My wife decided to just get a new set instead of constantly repair things. I can only hope it lasts as long as our other set. The warranty doesn't seem very promising. 1 year limited and 10 year limited parts. The parts warranty doesn't even cover but a couple parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the first day of use, my power cord got so hot that the plastic sheathing melted, leading to sparking and nearly causing a fire. The drum is large and the interface and setting know are easy to use, I'm just not sure it is safe.

I ordered a Maytag washer and dryer combo for my new home. The first time ot was delivered the washer was damaged. The electric plug was broken off. I had to return, wait for hours on Home Depot’s annoying customer care lines, and got a replacement scheduled. About 2 weeks later I receive a replacement, but now the dryer has a huge dent on it. Besides this, the delivery people were also pretty rude and uncaring. They insisted on entering withpit any booties or other protections on my brand new carpets. They then proceeded to say, oh we cant install the washer as the drain pipe is too short and started blaming tge house’s architecture. Including using the NSFW expletive rhyming with duck. They argued for a good 10/15 minutes that they cant install and then we find that the dryer is damaged. They then proceed to take back the dryer and install the washee. The irony - the srain plug fit with room to spare. All in all, I paid in full and fot defective products 2 tines, the hassle and stress of redcheduling again and again, and i still dont have my laundry set up for weeks. Home Depot/Maytag/The Dispather are all extretbad, and i would not recommend this at all

Started using it on 4/18, the dryer now is making a huge noise (scraching sound). I had a local repair guy over, who found the seal between the dryer and the drum is already worn out with two huge holes (see picture) and the edge of the drum has been bent a bit too. Unbelievable. only 2 weeks of use :-(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with the dryer. Looks good, dries all things well including thick quilts. Only 4 stars because I thought it would be quieter than it is and the buttons are super sensitive, so if you brush up against them they flick on.

Fortunately, the company stood behind their product and replaced it with a new one citing the old one was defective. I love the Maytag brand so I was thrilled with their decision. I really love my dryer and I’m hoping that the defect was just a fluke.
