Diameter not as advertised, average longevity, flexible
The nominal diameter of this trimmer line is 0.105", but I measured it at 0.119" using a precision caliper. If you use a handheld trimmer where you simply wrap line around a spool, you might get fewer wraps, or this may not matter to you at all. But I use this line in a wheeled trimmer, which requires the user to insert small pieces of line into holes in the trimmer head. This line does fit, but it's a bit tight. As you can see in one of the photos, this line tends to shred along the seam where the two filaments are twisted. All trimmer line wears with use, and this one's longevity is about average, compared to other lines I have used. One benefit is that the line seems more flexible that other lines I have used.

Last longer than smooth line
You will find that this 5 pack of trimmer line will last you a lot longer than the lines you've been buying. The trimmer line has a twist and instead of a smooth edge which accounts for the longer lasting trim. I noticed that I could do more trimming with one spool than I could with the other lines that I had. It is easy to wind around my spool and feed through the holes. The bumping to feed more line has not changed. I'm sure you'll be happy with the results you receive from these trimmer lines.

This Milwaukee 0.105 trimmer line is the best line I have ever used
This Milwaukee 0.105 trimmer line is the best line I have ever used. The quality of the line is very good compared to other trim lines I have used over the years. After using this trimmer line several times now I've noticed it lasts much longer than other lines I have used in the past, so this means I don't have to reload my machine head as often or have to tap the head as often to expel more line. I'm not sure what Milwaukee has done to help make this product last, cut all types of weeds and grasses so well but it works.

Twisted line
Having received this Milwaukee Trimmer Line, I was happy to see how much is on a spool. This should last a very long time. I mainly use this in my yard; however, I have helped with some community weed abatement and I must say it really outperformed the other guy's trimmer lines. This twist design somehow really gives it some great cutting power, it seems to slice through weeds and grass with ease. At first, I thought no way will this perform as well as the standard square or rectangular cut string, but it does! What impressed me this most is its strength and longevity. I put about 10' in my spool and have not run out yet, having done my yard several times. It's great for edge cutting and it installed in both my battery and gas trimmers easily without issue. Really good stuff lasts forever.

Trimmer Line Review
Took a long time to receive product. Fairly easy to install on trimmer head. Product performed well (3 out of 5). Trimmer line kept wrapping around trimmer head. Once I cut length of string to about two thirds then OK. Seems if line is a bit too long it wraps. String is pretty pliable causing it to wrap when to long, but when cut to a shorter length than I thought it should be then it was ok.

Great stuff!
This Milwaukee Trimmer Line works great. Been using it for a few years now. I have two string trimmers. One is gas-powered, and one is rechargeable battery style, and this stuff is tough as nails and cuts through heavy weeds effortlessly. Watch your delicate plants, as it can wipe them out too if you're not careful! Simply wind the trim line on the spindle when you need more. I actually had to sharpen the auto-cut blade on one of the trimmers so that it would cut through this line efficiently. This 5-pack should last a long time. Each roll is 20ft long! As the packaging states, you'll definitely get greater cutting power and longer run time, that's for sure. Thanks Milwaukee!

Milwaukee brand string trimmer line did not fit my trimmer head
Sadly, I was stopped dead in my tracks after opening the trimmer line. Due to the braided design of the line, it would not fit my trimmer head. I use a fixed line trimmer head (accepts 3 separate lines, each approx 9" in length - see pic). I would give the product 1 star for this feature flaw, but instead I am awarding a second star for the: 1) quality of the materials and 2) flourescent orange color which makes broken pieces easy to find and remove.

Pre-cut segments, strong line
Milwaukee .095 x 20ft Pre-Cut Trimmer Line is perfect for my battery powered trimmer. Pre cut so I don't have to hassle with measuring out the appropriate amount from a large spool. These are coiled up neatly and ready to load. The twisted line provides a smooth feed and advances properly within the trimmer. The twisted design and material provides effective cutting and seems to last longer than the other line I was using. I find it convenient to have this stocked and ready to use in my garden tool shed.

Strong and convenient but not for me
The Milwaukee 0.095 pre-cut trimmer line (Model 49-16-2782) comes in a package of 5 pre-cut coils of line in a fairly tight (4” diameter). Each coil contains 20 feet of line, which is perfect for many string trimmers available. The coils are each tied with two wire ties which are so closely trimmed it was difficult to remove them. As soon as I did the coil unwound and tangled badly. Lesson learned for me. That by itself made it take much longer to load the line into the trimmer head than it normally takes using a long spool of line, which usually comes in packaging to prevent tangling when unrolling. It's very convenient to hold a bound coil in my pocket while trimming so when the line does run out I can easily reload the perfect amount of line. Once loaded the line worked quite well. I saved it to try on some very heavy brush along the fence line, and it cut tall, tough grass and weeds easily without breaking over a 25-ft long stretch. At roughly $19 per pack (100 feet total) it's a lot more expensive than a 250-ft roll of the same Milwaukee line for $25 though, and it doesn't buy that much convenience for me. For that reason alone I can't recommend it.

Milwaukee Trimmer Line,.095 inch X 20 foot,pre-cut 5-pack,made of high-grade polymers,twisted design,universal fit.
This is another great product from Milwaukee Tool,it is made for outdoor string trimmers that use .095 trim line. With this universal trim line you can use this in a lot of line trimmers. This comes in a 5 pack pre-cut 20 foot per roll line and is made from high-grade polymers and a full mass twisted design. With the quality of the polymers and the twist design, this provides longer life, longer run time and more cutting power. With this pre-cut 5 pack you will have a lot of quality run time. I chose to use this in my brush cutter/trimmer.

Milwaukee tradition continues with another great product.
The Milwaukee 0.095 in. x 20 ft. Pre-Cut Trimmer Line (5-Pack) is now being used in my Dewalt Cordless Battery Powered Trimmer. Why is that important, because it demonstrates the versatility of this product to work with other products with similar trimmer line requirements. My Dewalt unit can hold a 20 ft replacement feed, coincidently the same length of feed with each replacement pack from Milwaukee. In just the first use of the product, you can quickly tell that the high grade polymers and twisted design has been optimized for cordless cutting efficiency – again, very important in a cordless unit. I tried a different product before Milwaukee that promised longer staying power with carbon on the inside, but I found that the increased strength of the line interfered with the unit’s ability to trim the line when necessary – instead the entire spool came off.

Very strong and durable!
This was ordered online and shipped to my home without issue. This is some of best string trimmer line I have ever used. After edging around about a 1/2 acres of land, I didn't feel or have the need to continuously feed trimmer line. In the photo in this review, you'll see that I only used about about 4" of line the entire time, and I didn't need to feed additional line once. This line is extremely durable and I've had zero issues with this line since I started using this. This 5 pack will probably last me for several years as it works so well and lasts a long time. I would highly recommend this product.

Best design I have seen on weed eater string
Milwaukee has become one of my favorite tool brands. This string is made with the same attention to detail as all their other products. This .095 weed eater string is tough and durable. It lasts longer than the other brands. I normally use the .080 string, but decided to spool this in my weed eater. I was not disappointed with the cutting power. These are precut spools which make it easy to load. They come in 20 foot spools so you have plenty. My weed eater didn't hold the full 20ft but I just cut off the excess. The thing that sets this string apart is the design. The string has a braid look to it, kind of like grooves that twist around the string. This made the loading so much easier, and conversely, the feeding it while working was so much more fluid. Great design! If you are looking for a quality, long lasting string, this will not disappoint! Not to mention, it's Made in the USA!

The Milwaukee 0.095 by 750 ft. Trimmer Line Spool
The Milwaukee 0.095 in. x 750 ft. Trimmer Line Spool is a great line to have for a replacement line to have available in the garage. The price is an excellent value and the 750 feet should last for several years. The trimmer line is of a high-quality twisted design that does an excellent job of trimming against the concrete border and against the house. I do like the quality of the Trimmer Line Spool which can be mounted to unroll the line if you want to do that in your shop or work area.

    Best String Trimmer
This will be the last roll of string trimmer you'll probably ever need to buy. I like the heavier .095 size to really cut the St. Augustine grass when I do edging around the driveway, side walks, and stone separators between lawn and garden. The material is made of high grade polymers and has a twisted design which seems to last longer and not break as easily. You can get a longer run-time between adding new string.

    Quality Trimmer Line in Bulk
Milwaukee Brand, 0.095 in. x 750 ft. Trimmer Line Spool is a good value for professionals or property owners having need for good quality trimmer line in bulk. I cut several 16-foot precut lengths for my Ryobi and Makita straight shaft string trimmers I use at two properties to have on hand. I found the Milwaukee line to have good to excellent stiffness and fair to good abrasion resistance. It is important to note if using 0.095-inch line, the trimmer should be rated for that size line. Line having greater stiffness can have greater resistance to flexing and load the trimmer more. Overall, when needing bulk 0.095 trimmer line, Milwaukee quality is always a top performer.

Long Lasting, Tough and Cuts Great
For those of you that want or need a larger amount of trimmer line. Here ya go. This is a 750' spool of Milwaukee's .095 twisted trimmer line. It's made from high grade polymers that will last longer and cut better. It does a great job for me trimming along my chain-link fence and outside the yard in the field. I have some tough, thick weeds and grasses, but this line makes short work of it. This hand spool is great for hanging in the shop, barn or trailer. It keeps it neat and handy. The flexible wrap keeps it nice and neat too. If this line will hold up to what's on my property, it'll work on yours too.

    Milwaukee line spool
There are several pluses to this product right from the start. First, it is Made in the USA so kudos to the company for that. Second, with 750 feet of trimmer line I should be good for several years. I have a quarter acre property that is half fenced in so I do a fair amount of weed trimming every year. The .095 thickness lasts much longer that the thinner spools. I own a Ryobi and Echo trimmer and this line fits them both. My only recommendation to the Milwaukee developers is to include a line cutter on the end of the spool itself in a future edition. I store mine in my shed and had to put an old pair of scissors alongside it so I can cut as needed.

    Whipped
Milwaukee spool of .095" trimmer string is high-grade polymer. The texture is twisted design. The line cuts fast and easy. The red color is easy to see in grass. Used with the spool it winds up easily and has no twists as it is fed out. 20 feet of .095 in a standard Milwaukee spool for the Milwaukee weedwhacker. It is 0.015 thicker than the 0.080 and lasts much longer in use, than the lighter line. It has above average wear on tough grass or cement edging. The ridges on the line help cut fast through any regular grass. I have used it to trim hedges and small tree branches. It’s tough. Designed and Made in the USA.

Best option for your string trimmer
This string trimmer line by Milwaukee is a great option to use on any string trimmer but especially pairs well the Milwaukee string trimmers. I have the string attachment for the quik lok power head and this line was great for it. The line held up great to being used and the spool is a great option and easy to store if you are a commercial landscaper. The line is tough and holds up well to the common yard usage and use on tall grass and not as thick brush. Overall a very nice trimmer line and provides plenty of line.

    Great product
I often times use a power weed eater and i go through many packs of trimmer line that I have to replace almost monthly. The Milwaukee trimmer line spool had 750 feet of line that will last me for years. The line was loaded onto my Ego power trimmer and the line cut well and evenly. It was easy to cut the line and load it onto the trimmer. This product I made a holder for holding the line and hung it underneath stairs in my shop to allow me to easily access the line. It beats line that is in packages that are hard to unwind at times.

Long lasting high quality trimmer line.
If you need high quality trimmer line, this Milwaukee is a good choice. The high grade polymer is tough. The twisted design helps with faster cutting. This spool is 750 ft of .095 which is a common diameter in medium or larger trimmers. I use this in a Ryobi 18 volt brushless trimmer. I use quite a bit of trimmer line each summer and this big spool will last a long time. I trim around concrete, stone and the Milwaukee is the toughest I've used. If

Only way to buy trimmer line!
ONLY way to buy trimmer line! I have been an active DIY all my life, and there’s nothing that looks better than a regularly cut and trimmed yard. After I finish mowing, I grab my M-18 Milwaukee weed eater and get to work. With the ‘bump and go’ line feed system, it’s very convenient, but like all trimmers, the line has to be replaced from time to time. Now that I have this 750 foot spool, I can pre-cut the correct length off for my line feeder and keep them wound up and hanging on a nail in my garage. When time comes due to put a new line on, it’s just a matter of minutes and I’m back at it. Before, even a 100 foot coil would only last about a year, at best. Now, I’m set for years to come. Like the old saying, “work smarter, not harder.”

    Strong trimmer line
I is difficult for me to find .095 trimmer line that is strong but flexible enough to load on the spool easily. This big spool of trimmer line fits the bill. It seems to last longer in use than other brands I have tried. It is flexible enough to load easily on the spinner spool loading mechanism on my trimmer. The line itself is not just round but rather has flutes that I think help it cut heavy grass better.

    great for refilling my trimmer
Great trimmer line for refilling a milwaukee trimmer. Line holds up decently to the abuse I dishout on it when trimming out the lawn and weeds on the driveway. Loads up easily and comes in its own great storage container.

I purchased the new Milwaukee Trimmer this summer to my hearts delight. While that tool is wonderful I think that any trimmer line will work fine. This is fine quality and works as designed. The only issue is with any trimmer that uses a dual feeder\dual line. Pros are that you have a double cutting power and it is cuts the first time you pass. Cons are that you have to take your time to reload the trimmer which is tedious but required if you want it to work right and properly self feed as you trim. To me it is worth it and I really like the trimmer and related line.

This line seems to be very tough, I put a piece in my vice and bent it back and forth in an effort to make it work harden, weaken and break and I gave up. This line is much better than standard trimmer line. Trying to bend this by hand is very difficult (see photo). Once you release pressure it snaps straight. It cuts very well too, I put it to test on some tall Oregon Bunch Grass and it cuts it so much better than regular trimmer line. Bunch Grass is very tough, it will easily slice skin. This line is going to save you time and I think money in the long run. You sure won't need to be tapping all the time and installing new line.

Virtually indestructible - you have to try this stuff
Living in So Cal we have to keep our one acre property compliant with the local fire department's brush clearance requirements which normally means that we spend a whole morning trimming up the long grass and weeds with a couple of weed whackers. I have to admit that I am very impressed with the durability of this new Milwaukee trimmer line as I managed to get the whole yard trimmed up in about an hour while using less than one spool of line from the trimmer head. This stuff is incredibly heavy duty and 250' is going to last a while - I expect that it will last as long as a 3lb spool of the orange serrated trimmer line we normally buy but for about 30% less cost. The first thing I noticed is that despite being the same 0.95" diameter as the 0.95" serrated orange line we normally use, this line is easier to wind onto the trimmer spool head. I didn't have to fight it as much and it seemed that the trimmer spool has more capacity when using this line. The packaging also has a pair of small holes drilled into it which makes it very convenient to take the fresh line you need and then secure the remaining line without it turning into a bird's nest of a tangled line. When I said this stuff was durable, I meant it - when I first wound the line onto the trimmer head, I had a piece of around 12" coming out of one of the spool holes and try as I might, I couldn't get the trimmer to spin quickly enough to trim the excess line off as the line was so strong it was choking the engine up. I actually had to stop the trimmer and cut off the excess line with a knife! I was able to go through three tanks of gas and still had line left on the original spool when I was done. Where it would have taken us both a couple of hours working in different parts of the yard to get the brush clearance done, I was done in about two hours and worked alone (much to my wife's relief). When the line comes into contact with grass (short or long), it is no competition and I found I could run the weed whacker at less than full throttle and still 'git er done'. When the line hits fallen tree branches, it doesn't fray like the orange line does and it handles thicker brush like sage or fox gloves with ease, so there is less time spent bumping the trimmer head to advance more line. Since I was able to get the while 1 acre yard done on less than a spool, I also saved a ton of time in not having to stop and re-spool fresh line. You have to try this stuff as it is pretty impressive.
