Clips are fairly useless and it is loose on my hardhat and comes off after a few mins of wearing it.

I use it hands-free when I'm working above when I am replacing ballasts and lighting.

I received this headlamp as a Christmas gift 3 years ago. I've used it almost daily for the 3 year duration. Up until about 6 months ago never had an issue with the battery, charger. But just like almost every other review I was getting the dreaded red and green blinking light. I'm usually a Dewalt man and I have had my share of batteries that wouldn't take a charge anymore. So I just jumped the battery off a fully charged battery and now taking a charge. No issues

LOVE IT KEEPS HANDS FREE

As mentioned by another reviewer, IF YOU'RE LIGHT IS NOT CHARGING AND/OR FLASHING RED/GREEN... The battery probably doesn't have good contact with the 3 terminals inside of the housing. The foam spacers that push against the battery wear out over time causing a loose connection on the battery contacts. Simply put a shim/spacer on battery compartment door to slightly push on battery for a solid connection. This will fix the issue for most of you. I used a Post-it note and folded it up a couple of times for best fit and thickness to ensure compartment door still closes without affecting IP rating. Also, I saw some reviews mentioning the light won't stay in position and that has not been my experience at all. I've had this light since it came out and work on commercial construction sites for my job. I've (accidently) dropped my hard hat (with this light attached) from the top of my head while working off lifts/ladders anywhere from 10-20 feet off of the ground, and the light will not die while still holding any position just fine. Very solid even after taking many beatings. I still have the original battery that came with it as well, and after the recent shim fix, it works great and holds a solid charge. Definitely recommend

Works well for the short period of time I use it for. It does add a noticiable weight to the helmet but overall good My only question is if the band that wraps around the Henley is sold separately anywhere else if so pls tell me where thx you.

Best light on the market right now for night worker like me.

I bought this Milwaukee Hard Hat Light 3 months ago, and now it just blinks red and green when "charging," which does not charge anymore. Hopefully, Milwaukee will develop a new model that will perform much better. I love Milwaukee and swear by their products, but this one slipped through the cracks.

I've had this lamp a long time and found out the reason the batteries flash red/green or last very little time is is because they don’t make good contact with the light. The cover has two little rubbers that push down the battery to keep it nice and tight but after time they wear out and the battery doesn’t make good contact. Other than that i love this head lamp.

So I needed a good spot light with high lumens to give me that reach and I found this. 6 months later I find that I'm looking for something new. Here's is a list of good and bads. The good: 1) It is a fairly strong beam of light. It is perfect for what I need it for. Actually that's about it. The bad: 1) It is freaking front heavy and forces my helmet down hurting the bridge of my nose b/c I wear glasses. 2) I feel that it dies a bit quick, about 5ish hrs w/ no brightness control for spot.

Had this for a total of 2 weeks before it would not hold a charge for longer than 10 min at the lowest setting. Could be a battery issue but for a 100$ it should last longer than 2 weeks.

I had high hopes for this headlight and was very pleased during the first 3 weeks that I used it. After that, nothing but issues. Started having charging issues and wouldn't last for more than 5 minutes. Red and green flashing lights when attempting to charge it. Soon it stopped working altogether. By simply removing the battery and putting it back in I was able to get it to turn back on for another 5 minutes worth of use. Would not recommend. Certainly possible to purchase multiple and better headlights for what was spent on this single item.

Not pleased with performance after just a few months of use…doesn’t hold charge for more than 10 minutes without blinking to warn low battery. Not sure if it’s a battery issue but for over 100$ the headlight should last well over a year. I like the amount of light output just needs longer lifespan.

Light was not bright and by no means is capable of over 80 yards of light.

Very bright, easy to swap battery

I have about every light from Milwaukee i love the tools but this light i will not recommend if you dont have the clips after a week or two it wont stay on hard hat. Also after a month it keeps flashing green and red even when the battery is fully charged i try different battery's and same issue happens. it only seems to work on low mode notting after that look like it has a fault and warranty wont replace or fix it do not buy.

I'm a diehard Milwaukee product owner of various and many Milwaukee tools, as well as many pieces of Packout components. This is the first Milwaukee product that I certainly will never buy again, nor would I recommend anyone else purchase it. Ok, so, the light is very bright on the spot light and spot light/flood light mode. The other two settings are okay as well. That being said, The light has no length of life. Within the first 4 months, the battery doesn't hold much of a charge, and it often red and green light flashes on charge. when i correct the fault flash and finally get a supposed full charge, i might get 10 minutes of use if I'm lucky.

I used it under houses. Used it for a less than 2 months and battery is flashing red and green.

One hard hat strap clip continues to falls off.

This light is exceptionally bright near and a strong long range beam (app. 250feet) does get a little warm and will burn thru a battery on highest power but beats going back to the truck for a strong light for a quick use. I have 2 friends that are SWAT and have purchased these for work use when they can.
