Nice high torque tool for removing bolts and nuts quickly. Lots of battery life. I've only owned this tool for about a month so I can't report on how long it will last but when I work on my vehicles it makes the work go much faster.

I purchased this tool for my daughter to use while working on my truck after she broke it. This is not comparable to any impact out there on the market and yes you can hold a socket with your fingers while depressing the trigger. This tool was not designed for heavy use or for snugging up bolts but rather to run them in or out. It did work perfectly for my F350 torx bolts in the column. Swapped out a shift tube in record time.

    Beats Snapon
I bought this ratchet back in the begining of the year and i have used it practicaly everday. I am a full time diesel mechanic and when comparing this to the snapon equivalent it is worth it for the money. The rpms are a little bit slower than other 3/8” ratchets in its category however it does put out the torque it says it does. The head is bulky on it and sometimes you cant quite get into tight spaces with it. When that happens i just grab my extended reach ratchet. For the price of the batteries, and the ratchet itself you cant beat it. Ive dropped this thing by accident and it hasnt cracked or stopped performing as well as it has the day i got it. For all of the M12 power tools milwaukee has it makes it even more worth it. I bought the 3.0 amp hour batteries to use with my other tools and when i use it with this ratchet it will last 3 days without having to charge it. I have wrenched on it pretty tough even after it stops tightening down bolts and it still has yet to break. The only downside i believe this ratchet has is it is a little bit bulkier than others and the fact that it has a lever versus a button but thats just personal preference to me. Definitly recomend it.

Epic for areas where your hands have no room to rotate. Best part is it stops at a little over 60 ft/lbs so unlike an air ratchet, your knuckles don’t get slammed. Battery lasts a long time and this set comes with a free one (same price as bare tool). Just need to have a charger. The little light also helps you see better when working on vehicles. Made installation of my airbags a breeze especially for those ridiculously long bolts.

Another excellent tool by Milwaukee but it would have been nice of Milwaukee to throw in the protective boot like Snap-on, Mac, or Matco Tools always did for me or charge $5 at the most. Have you seen what Milwaukee wants for their rubber protective boot (and battery packs)? Milwaukee don't be greedy like that. There I had to say it. I used a FREE Matco spare I had and it looks awesome. I still gave 5 stars but I probably shouldn't have.

Nice tool to have in my arsenal of tools. Especially convenient when u need to get into a spot that an air hose would normally get in the way. I also bought the boot for it to keep it a lil protected.

I work on Freightliners for a living. This is the heaviest duty electric ratchet on the market. The first one I bought lasted 2 years of HEAVY work, used everyday. I then learned the 5 year warranty is only valid if purchased through ‘authorized dealer’. Live and learn, I bought this second one thru Home Depot. Must have tool for me.

I work as a automotive technician, ive only used it a few times so far because I've only had it a few days but I love it. Its 55ft/lbs of torque is just right for what I do. Its fast and holds a charge. Also it does not seem to loose power when the battery gets weak by it's easy to read battery indicator lights.

Plenty of power and puts the snap on to shame. Been working on trucks and cars for 15 yards and this product is definitely one worth investing in. Be careful with smaller nuts and bolts this will break then. Another great product from Milwaukee.

I need to point-out a few things about this tool... I was hoping for a completely different feeling; it's bulky and heavy and it's not versatile. First off, it’s difficult to put at work on a vehicle due to its size and second the speed is to slow. All in all, it's not worth the price for car mechanics. If you intend to use it in another field of activity, I don't have an opinion on that.

If you think you need one; this is a good one to get. Love the product line and charger that charges both M12 and M18 batteries. I am using mine for DIY and shade tree mechanic work 3-4 days a week.

If you work on cars, BUY IT NOW. You will wonder how you lived without it. No cord. No hose. Lots of power. It's only 4oz more than my craftsman air ratchet. Very small price to pay for no cord or hose. The light is great. Variable speed. Battery life indicator.

Let me first start off by saying this ratchet is the best tool I have ever used since my air ratchet. Now I no longer have a hose in my way. I looked all over for which brand I should by and found this to be the best value for my budget. Coming with a 5 year warranty and a trusting name, this tool gets the job done quick. It would be the tool for the everyday mechanic since I use this on a daily basis at the shop I work at.

Bought this impact to get into tight spaces doing automotive work. It has worked out well so far. Definitely has the power that is needed. It is a great addition to your mechanics tools or any of your other Milwaukee tools in your arsenal. Pics I put with this review has the rubber boot to protect the head.

This is a great tool to have around working on cars. Disassembly and installation of non critical parts is a breeze. Rated torque is plenty enough and pairs well with a good impact wrench.Battery life is better than expected. It’s front heavy and can be fatiguing in extended use but a very good tool over all.

No, because I purchased the m12 fuel Milwaukee 3/8 ratchet online homedepot.com. This not the first time buying a tool online (homedepot.com) and received it dirty, opened boxed, used. So I returned the m12 fuel Milwaukee 3/8 rarchet. I know it's a tool, but paying for tool only with warranty costing $180. I expect a store to send me a brand new unopened box item. I have the m12 fuel 1/2 miwaukee ratchet bought online (homedepot.com) and received this tool only brand new and boxed with single taped not sneaky doubled taped. It's a keeper! Awesome tool, love Milwaukee tools, but if I don't receive online purchases brand new I will be at the refund line.

Great tool. Very handy and convenient vs a pneumatic ratchet. I will say that this is heavier than I would have liked or expected. The non-brushless model is lighter and more compact. I still like the longevity of brushless tools so I guess it's a trade off I'm willing to take. I also wish it came with the rubber cover for the end, but they want you to spend another $22 + tax for it. It looks to be about $1 worth of rubber so not sure why it's not included.
