Performed as advertised

This reciprocator saw probably works good on OSB. But for pressure pvc and hard would it sucks. I’m not gonna sugar coat it. It literally is like trying to cut a steak with a butter knife. Even with a new blade. Bie metal or wood. It literally sucks. Now I didn’t try osb but if it can’t do the main things I need it for why even see about a simple task. I know it isn’t the biggest saw zall as it is compact. But it at least needs to be able to cut pvc and a 2x4. I bought it for tight spots to cut.

It's seriously mind-boggling how anyone can rate this tool over one star. They work well initially, have great power, etc. BUT, they will inevitably ruin your batteries as the back and forth action kicks the batteries out and breaks the cheap plastic holding tabs. Or even if the tabs don't break, the tool will stop working unless you hold the battery in with one hand while you use the other hand to trigger the tool. I made the messed up buying this tool, I hope you don't make the same mistake.

Worked like a charm on some roots of a cherry tree. Impressed!

Great tools from Milwaukee as usual, well designed n powerful

My first use was cutting down and chopping up a small tree by my house. The HACKZALL did it easily and never ran out of power. I highly recommend this tool!
