Grinder is portable , powerful and awesome. Took it to the field to grind on some mower blades and wow did the grinder impress. Easy to handle, not too heavy and powerful. Glad i bought so i didnt have to lug out the generator to the field just to shapren mower blades A+

Nice tool I got two of them for work and for home.

I started switching out to Milwaukee a few years ago. Milwaukee tools and batteries far out perform all others in my opinion. I purchased air compressor, grinder and yesterday I picked up the power hacksaw.

So handy to not have to lug around an extension cord. I use every day even at home just to make things here and there

The grinder is effective, quieter than most other brands i have used. Battery lasts decently well even after many many cuts. The only issue is the guard, will only lock in certain locations of the grinder, not to where the user prefers it to be with their preference.

This grinder is a workhorse! Truly lives up to the fuel reputation that I've come to trust when I need a tool that will stand up to tough jobs. Straight out the box I put it to the test chewing up rusted steel for hours and as expected it performed perfectly!

I goer started with the usual Drill and Driver kit, and have since added nearly a dozen other tools. I purchased this to clean wrought iron railing around my porch so I could re-paint it. Wow. I am so impressed with the continuous power! I have 2 5.0 and 1 4.0 battery so I have been able to go for about 100 min full steam. So glad to have this in my tool box!!

Used it for grinding and cutting both light and heavy steel. You can really lay into steel with this grinder and it won’t stop or shut off. I’ve had a Makita and a dewalt. They were both junk. There is no comparison. It will eat through low amp hour batteries if your using it hard, but you can swap them out and keep going. I bought this because I burnt up my corded grinder and I glad I took the chance to try another cordless. Worked great for building my flatbed.

I use it for everything from cutting to buffing and polishing. Powerful unit. Maybe bulky for some jobs. The one piece of advice I’d offer is never leave the battery in the tool when not in use. My tool bag got bumped and by the time it got shut off it had cut through and extension cord, a portable light, the tool bag and was working on the pavement.

I was very excited to discover Milwaukee is now offering their cordless saws and grinders in the M18 Fuel Line of tools. The Milwaukee 2781-20 is my first cordless grinder, and I have been very impressed with it’s performance and features. The Milwaukee 2781 Grinder has a very compact design, yet the ergonomics are excellent and it has very low vibration when using the tool. The new brushless motor provides plenty of power and extended battery use. The unit comes with a Type 27 Wheel Guard (for grinding), and more importantly a Type 1 (enclosed) Wheel Guard, which is mandatory for using flat metal cutting wheels. The wheel guards have 5 adjustment settings (tooless), and the slide switch has a cruise control setting. I highly recommend the new Milwaukee 2781 for anyone in the market for a cordless grinder, and appreciates having the best available technology. You will not be disappointed.

Best tool ever especially for the rapid stop and comfort cutting

Great little grinder. Its my second the same. First one i use for zipcuts. Got this one to wear a flapdisk. I pair them with 6 or 8 amp batteries seem to balance well and decent run time.

My opinion is that the instructions for the blade gaurd were not clear. It was very clear how to mount or remove the gaurd but they were not as clear as to how to lock it. Otherwise, the grinder seens to perform well. Perhaps I didn't see it, hut i think there should be a place to lock the wrench into place.

First purchase of the Milwaukee fuel 18v slide switch grinder. Have only used a few times. So far…happy with the power. Ergomonics of the tool and its engineering.

Great power, used on various projects. Highly recommend for those with metal or tile work.

Works great for many tasks such as , diamond blade for scoring concrete, thin wheel for cutting cast iron , or grinding bevels for welding

This grinder is so much safer feeling to use cause it stops very quickly after letting go of the trigger. It still has lots of power for a battery power grinder.

This tool is very comfortable to use, gas good, smooth power and has very good battery life with a 5.0 battery. I expect the locking switch to fail early in the tool's life however. I have only used it a few times and it is already popping off.

Works great, use it in my shop. Plenty of power to grind or cut steel. Fits hand well switch easy to access unlike other tool.

Great tool for the money, think I’ll go brushless with a fast brake next go around
