Bigger and a little harder to use 1 handed than I expected but cuts smooth. Would be nicer if it had a faster speed like my smaller one does. And a trigger st the 2nd handle would be great. Otherwise it's great

Cuts through hard, thick metal perfectly with ease
I work in the heavy civil construction industry and this 5" deep cut band saw has saved me so much energy and time, that it has already paid for itself! Everything about this bandsaw is of high quality and very durable. It has a good weight to it to allow it to cut any metal with no effort at all by the user, yet it's not too heavy as it remains portable enough to be taken anywhere. The blades are very simple and quick to change. The adjustable guide makes it easy to get clean and straight cuts.

    2in thick steel
Super powerful. Cuts 2in thick plate like butter. This paired with the metal cutting circular saw and a grinder you can cut anything anywhere fast. I recommend getting the extreme thick blades. They seem to work the best for me. All in all I totally recommend this product.

    Warranty dont mean nothing
Under 2 years old Bandsaw slipped of handle of my packout and hit the ground just right and cracked the frame of the pulley support system. Not covered by warranty at all. Called milwaukee to get part number to order replacement. Was giving plastic cover part number on the part that broke. Would not entertain the fact that could have need a bad mold and even cracked through the screw hole at a week point of the part

Milwaukee MX FUEL Lithium-Ion Cordless Handheld Core Drill Kit
This is the most incredible handheld battery power tool I have ever seen. It is really heavy duty, high quality, and over the top core drill. It has many safety features like AUTOSTOP technology that provides maximum power and control when drilling trough foundation wall of concrete slabs. It has an LED level that helps you guide the drill. The MX FUEL REDLITHIUM battery pack includes the charger and two batteries. I have never had a tool like this.

      Top Quality Core Drill
This Milwaukee MX FUEL Lithium-Ion cordless handheld core drill kit is one of the most impressive tools I own. This kit comes with the drill, two batteries and a charger, an adapter for 5/8-11 bits, a side handle, trigger lock and a water quick connect. The drill and battery weighs about 22 pounds and the entire kit in a hard molded case with wheels weight just over 50 pounds. The clutch and auto stop feature provides safer handheld coring by providing maximum control and prevents over rotation in case the machine bit gets bound up. The built in LED leveling system helps prevent binding and bit or tool damage. A performance indicator provides pressure feedback, the LEDs will light up one by one as pressure is applied to the bit. Increase or decrease pressure on the bit to reach the green ideal pressure. There is a selector for low speed, 3 to 6 inches bores and high speed for 1 to 3 inches bores. This drill has the power to core up to 6 in. holes in reinforced concrete. A water connection is supplied with a quick connector adapter for bits requiring water cooling. Two on board work LED lights are mounted on each side of the tool. Onekey technology allows for tracking and tool security from your smart phone or computer using the Bluetooth community tracking network. If ever lost or stolen, prevent tampering with remote lockout capability. I used this tool to cut a three inch hole in a concrete floor for a radon system using a 1 1/4 inch bit and it cut right through so easily. I am very impressed with this tools power and quality. Milwaukee has a two year tool warranty and a two year battery warranty.

      Excellent Cordless Handheld Core Drill
This is a complete kit in one package. A bit adapter is included. The spindle thread is 1-1/4"-7. With the included adapter, spindle thread 5/8"-11 bits may also be used. When connected to a water hose, there is a water valve close to the trigger. The convenience of the valve enables one to open the water valve just before drilling; and shutting the water off right after drilling stops. Upcoming fence post installation will require boring through concrete. I tested a boring bit on 50-year-old concrete. Prior to drilling, I selected 3"-6" for low speed since I was drilling through hard aggregate. After just one minute, I had bored 1.5 inches into the slab. I let the weight of the drill do the work. It was smooth and tireless. While drilling, the "Performance Indicator" indicates whether more or less pressure is needed. The drill has, "AUTOSTOP", which would have kicked in if the bit had encountered a jam. The built-in digital level has five LED's. The white LED in the center comes on when the tool is very close to level. The surrounding four LED's light up in red when the bit is off in a given angle. The Left & Right arrows are not used for horizontal drilling. It seems like Milwaukee thought of everything when engineering this tool. It even works with the "One-Key" app which is a security lockout.

      What a beast!
This thing is built like no other. The battery charges quickly (mine was nearly dead out of the box and charged up in around 35 min). The handle is easy to install and rotate, but is also extremely sturdy. The level indicator on the top of the unit is very intuitive and visible for the driller. The rolling case is very easy to pull around and move. Last but not least boy does it have some power! It easily drilled a 3" hole in the thickened edge of my garage slab so I could install my well.

      Star War Drill Milwaukee MXF3012CP
Cordless Hand-Held Core Drill, looks kinda like a star war weapon and it has to be armed to work, no kidding. What is truly great, they have produced a cordless system that bests a corded tool in that it keeps you working and untethered. I mean, the very first thing I did, the batteries were shipped empty so while I was getting familiar with the kit I set one battery up for charging. So then I went to look everything over and when I had done that and glanced at the manuals, maybe 45 minutes had passed and out of the corner of my eye I saw the charger's green light had started blinking. That was on a totally empty new battery. Meaning this huge battery charged up real fast, so I could put it to work and have the second charging and it would be ready about the same time I emptied the one I was using and rinse, lather, repeat, all day long. And it worked that way. For more info, keep reading. That part I have yet to see in a cordless tool and wanted to point that out even if it made the review long.///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// This drill kit comes with a MXFC charger and two CP203 batteries, plus. The kit is in a wheeled, big molded hard case you can pull or carry. Trigger lock and a core adapter and the water quick connect for using on a garden hose are inside too. The tool has a leveling system indicator that you can easily see as you use the drill and it directs you so you maintain a level hold and proper pressure, so you protect the core, tool and the job. The pressure indicator keeps you from pushing too hard. In use, you make an impression on the concrete first so your bit has a place to sit and adjust from there. The level and the pressure indicators are in line on top of the tool in the command center, easy to keep an eye on. The water connector is below the trigger and the water on/off switch is in front of the trigger. You can use the helper handle on the front or on the side, depending on how you need to work. It balanced really well. I used a hose reel, bibb hose, to make a light weight hose extension so I am not holding up a heavy duty water hose along with the drill. It only required a male to male GHT adapter. They have an option in case there is not a water supply./////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Lets not forget OneKey it's there to help us. The drills MX Fuel light tells you, your tool is on/armed and ready to work. Arm button is on/off switch. Fuel gauge covers the battery charge level. It has an outstanding automatic clutch system to control things. LED headlights. //////////////// The manual has some really important information and it's well written and organized. There are some must have besides a bit of course like a vacuum etc. Milwaukee does their best with making batteries really work. Kinda like Telsa but with tools. This is a super nice tool.

Powerful Cordless Core Drill with 2 batteries and charger (Bits are not included)
This Milwaukee handheld core drill with 2 batteries and charger arrived in a box measuring 38"x19"x11.5" and weighing about 54 pounds. (The tool weighs about 16 lbs. without the battery, and 22 lbs. with a battery attached.) I like that it came with a wheeled storage case with handles and latch locks and it does not take up much room when standing upright. It is a convenient tool for plumbers or anyone needing to drill up to 6" holes in concrete or reinforced concrete. This will also come in handy for installing my security system. The other features I also like are: >It is cordless and can be used anywhere without worrying about a cord or power supply >It is ONE-KEY compatibility to track the tool if lost and to lock it remotely >An extra battery is included for longer work time >It has a clutch with Autostop protection controls kickback >It has a digital LED level built in and performance gauge for pressure status >It has 2 LED work lights >It has 2 speeds with a locking trigger >An optional guide handle is included >Easy dial to switch between 1-3" or 3-6" bits >Water quick-connect and valve for optional water drilling >The charger has status lights and it charged a battery in about 45 minutes

      Amazingly powerful, portable, and capable.
The Milwaukee MX Fuel Handheld Core Drill is truly amazing. No cords, fuel, or exhaust to deal with. The clutch and autostop protect the drill and the operator from getting bound up. This extends the life of the bits and more importantly keeps the operator from getting hurt. Capable of coring up to 6-inch holes in concrete. It has a built-in digital level and a performance gauge to help the operator apply the right amount of pressure. Green is good pressure, yellow too little, and red too much. This Core Drill is ONE-KEY Compatible which is a pretty amazing by itself. Being able to lockout out a stolen tool is something I hope I never need. Just make sure you activate the tool under your ONE-KEY account. The drill has a switch for 1-3” and 3-6” bits. I wish it also showed the RPM for each but here they Low Speed (3-6 inch): 790 RPM / High Speed (1-3 inch): 1550 RPM. The drill has a 1-1/4 inch spindle thread and 5/8 inch spindle adapter. Comes in a really nice rolling case. Amazingly powerful, portable, and capable.

      Powerful and Safe
This Milwaukee cordless core drill is very impressive with all of its features, such as being cordless, you won't be tripping circuit breakers or need to bring a generator. You can drill up to a six-inch hole in reinforced concrete. This core drill is safe enough to use on a ladder because of all the built-in safety features that won't allow the drill to rip out of your hands or possibly break your wrist if it binds up. Its patented safety clutch and auto stop feature is another excellent safety feature. This core drill has two LED lights and an onboard water hookup. It also includes one key to keep track of on the job site. I like the built-in digital level and the command center that lets you know if you are using the correct pressure while drilling. The drill comes in a sturdy wheeled case with two MX fuel batteries and a charger. The drill has two speeds and a side- handle you can install on the left or right side, or you can install it on the nose piece behind the chuck. Overall, I like the built-in safety features that allow me to be on a ladder and not worry should the drill bind up. This core drill is a must-have on many a/c installs I do.

This thing is a beast. Lighter than the brushed m18 but very comfortable to use. They improved the cutting guide by adding a button that you push to move it up and down, so it doesn't get bumped and collapse. It cuts through 3/4" rigid and OCAL in about 7 seconds and doesn't bind if the cuts are straight and the blade doesn't get pinched. The cutting angle is great as well, very easy to make perfectly straight cuts. Going to see how well the variable speed trigger does on stainless steel later. The cutting depth and width are also a huge bonus. It can almost cut through 3" pvc (it's just a 1/4" too small). My biggest complaint is the trigger lock button, which has to be held rather than toggled, but its not even noticable after a week of use.

Milwaukee bandsaw comes in a box that states: "Driven to outperform", "fastest cutting", "largest capacity", "lightweight"; although I seldom take any confidence in statements on packaging of tools I acquire, I will confess, this Milwaukee tool has met everyone of those claims! I'll start out mentioning that I have a corded Milwaukee deep-cut bandsaw that has served me very well over the years, but it is a hunk of a tool to tote around not to mention cumbersome to work with on small cuts. I jumped right on the the M18 brushless version when I saw it and confess I have no regrets what-so-ever. In fact I haven't pulled out my corded Milwaukee since getting the cordless M18. Milwaukee dressed this tool up nicely including a pair of 3.0 Ah M18 batteries and a great gear bag to store everything in. Then they upped the package including the rapid charger that will charge the M12 as batteries too. The saw is very easy to handle - yes, one-handed! It is light but not fragile. The trigger control is super smooth and easy to control the brushless motor of the saw. Putting the saw to work, I do mostly rigid conduit cutting and some angle iron for bracing and there is a definite difference cutting the rigid conduit pipe using the M18 bandsaw against the corded tool. The M18 just seems to do the work so much easier than my corded saw, part of it because the M18 is lighter, but the control of the M18 is also better. Other brags on the Milwaukee is the blade brushes that sweep filings from the blade keeping the saw track clean. I also appreciate the built-in light and the ladder hook. The M18 comes with a 10 TPI blade which is perfect for my work. I tell everyone I work with that this is the saw to upgrade to.

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Compact Bandsaw Kit with Two 3.0 Ah High Output Batteries is a real lifesaver. I didn't know such a saw existed until a co-worker pulled one out to cut a length of pipe. When I saw how quickly and cleanly it cut through that steel I knew I needed to add one to my arsenal. This is the latest improvement to the one I fell in love with. It is 2.6 pounds lighter than its predecessor which is significant when working from a ladder. The built-in hook for hanging is one of the simple upgrades that means a lot to the guy in the field. When I need to free my hands it's easier to find a place to hang it rather handing it down the guy on the ground. While compatible with all of the M18 batteries, it includes two of the high output compact batteries that give similar runtime to its older brother without the weight and mass. Again, something that means a lot to the guy working from a ladder and/or over his head. Last, but not least, the tool-free blade replacement is quick and simple to avoid the frustration of having to bust out your tools and waste 15 minutes on a job to replace a worn or busted blade.

This is my first bandsaw and am truly impressed. Usually I bust out the old angle grinder or reciprocating saw when it's time to cut metal, but this is a game changer. It is easy to use and relatively light for what it is. The cuts are WAY cleaner and much more accurate. Cuts through aluminum angle like butter. Rebar and unistrut are equally easy to cut. The stated cut capacity is 3-1/4, but I was not able to test this limit due to a lack of material. Included with the kit is one "extreme thick metal" blade with 8/10 TPI. An assortment of replacement blades are available and I will be purchasing some soon. The tool is very easy to control during cutting and it did not kick back once the cutting started. It is very important to note that you should NOT start cutting until the blade has reached full speed. This is noted in the manual. There's an adjustable shoe which is nice, but I found it somewhat difficult to manipulate it's button while wearing gloves - would be nice if the button had some more surface area to it. On the flip side, the trigger and safety are very easy to use while wearing gloves. And finally, the batteries. The 3.0Ah batteries are nice to have. Their reduced size and footprint help keep this tool's weight manageable. Larger batteries fit nicely, at the expense of some added weight.

My husband and I do a lot of vegetable gardening. We like to make our own trellises out of PVC pipe so we can customize them for our needs. We got this bandsaw in order to cut the pipe easily and using a battery operated saw. The saw is comfortable to hold and it worked exceptionally well for our needs. The saw can be used for other pipe materials but currently, this is our primary use. I will include a picture of the saw, our use of it and the final product, a trellis in our garden. We use stakes in the ground and place the pipe over it. We connect the pipe using standard PVC elbow connectors. We then use nylon netting cut to size and held in place with nylon cinch ties. This is the first year that cutting the pipes as been one of the easier chores involved in creating the trellis because of the ease of use of the saw.

Milwaukee's reputation for superior quality craftsmanship carries over to their M18 Fuel 18-volt Brushless Compact Bandsaw Kit. With it's Lifetime Warranty, this bandsaw kit provides the user with everything needed to tackle any cutting task around your home or worksite. The cutting capacity is 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" which will provide you the cutting surface for most jobs. Blade replacement's for this saw run about $5.00 in packs of three, so several replacements can be handy without breaking the bank. Having both a variable speed trigger, and LED work light helps with safely cutting materials. The M18 batteries are part of Milwaukee's M18 family...Meaning, if you have other Milwaukee M18 tools, the batteries are all interchangeable! Using this saw to cut some piping for an outdoor project, the saw is very lightweight, extremely soft running, with no jerking or out of control running. The sound is very low, and letting go of the trigger, stops the blade in around 1-second. While running...Of course, depending on what you're cutting, this saw does not bog down one bit. Cutting remains constant. The storage / carry bag that this kit has is super nice, well constructed, and very thick. Overall, this kit is an outstanding purchase for the price, Milwaukee quality, and Lifetime Warranty. Extremely pleased, and Highly Recommended.

I am in the middle of restoring an old car to go racing in the 24 hours of Lemons. I haven't done any roll cage welding i a while so I thought I should practice. I puled out this band saw and proceeded to slice up a length of tubing like like it was made of paper. The cuts were clean, the pipe didn't heat up like with my chop saw, and the cut surface needed very little clean up afterward. Now I can't wait to get started on the new cage.

Got this , charged the batteries and cut some steel pipe plastic pipe. Made about two dozen cuts and still had life on the battery. Used a bigger battery and could feel the difference in weight. I would recommend the smaller battery if you are cutting overhead or for a long time. I like the LED light to see the cut line on dark metal. Only thing I need to get is extra blades. I did not use the charger since I already have one.

Excellent, strong, battery powered bandsaw. Cordless saws always seemed to be underpowered to me, but this brushless bandsaw is not - had plenty of power to cut through steel bar. Important information: If you are looking to order blades, the Milwaukee "compact bandsaw" use 35-3/8" long x 1/2" inch blades. They sell them up to 24 tpi which is more useful for thinner wall pipe and things like strut and conduit. Get the 24 tpi blade! - thick metal blade will get torn up trying to cut thin stuff. It comes with one blade (labelled "extreme thick metal") that I measured out as 9.5 tpi (they call it 8-10 tpi) which is really meant for thicker things - roughly 1/4 of an inch and thicker. I also measured the size of the throat - they give the spec as 3-1/4" wide and 3-1/4" deep. I measure it more like 3-3/8" wide and about 3-1/2" deep. Which means it can cut pipe smaller than 3" (but not 3" ). And not a 4x4 piece of lumber (this isn't the right saw for that anyway). Love the LED lights that help illuminate the work - you can never have too much light, especially right where you are working.

I received my Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18 volt Lithium-Ion brushless cordless compact bandsaw kit. It came with Two 3.0 Ah High Output Batteries. It has a variable speed trigger that provides maximum speed control. I really like the built in LED light. It has largest capacity in it's class and its versatility to cut up to 3-1/4" X 3-1/4" material in a single pass. It's so easy to use & its lightweight. The kit includes two M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT CP3.0 batteries, one M18/M12 Rapid Charger and one 8/10 TPI Extreme metal cutting band saw blade. It has a locking adjustable shoe that you just push a button actuated tool-free design allows user to quickly adjust from an extended shoe to no shoe in seconds. I think anyone would love to have this tool in their shop.

If you were looking for an awesome bandsaw that has just the right cut capacity than this is it. The bandsaw fits right between the m12 bandsaw and the m18 deep neck bandsaw. The bandsaw is like a hot knife through butter even with the stock blade it comes with. I used the bandsaw on a 3/4 inch thick pipe, rebar, pvc pipe, and wood and it handled everything with complete ease. It was very impressive how easily it handled each of the materials and little to no kickback as it engages the cut. The features on the bandsaw are really beneficial and great thinking by Milwaukee. The saw comes with crunch or crash zones designed to take a drop and can be replaced easily that way your saw can keep going. Comes with a brush to help clear out any metal filings so as the blade is rotating. That will help prolong the life of your gears. A very bright led light is right in the cut area that easily lights your cut. You also get an adjustable cut support. This also comes with the nice and durable rafter hook. The band saw blade that comes with it is very nice for a stock blade. I had no issues with mine but I have heard some people had minors issues with the weld point of the blade so be on the watch out for that. The 2 3AH batteries that come with the saw give you plenty of power and are a great complement to this bandsaw. Overall this is an amazing bandsaw. I would definitely recommend this bandsaw. It is light but still has plenty of power. Well designed and thought through by Milwaukee.

This M18 Fuel compact bandsaw is powerful and loaded with user friendly features. The trigger is easy to control the cutting speed. The LED light in the throat is well placed and works perfectly. Blade installation is fast and easy. This model included a blade. They use a 35 3/8" blade and are available in several tooth count options for different applications. The included 3.0 HO batteries are compact, but seem to last well. The included charger is a rapid charger and it fully charged my batteries in 30 minutes. It also wi!l charge M12 batteries. You can count on Milwaukee to deliver pro quality tools.

This band saw is very light to me, and powerful. I got this as I wanted to cut my 3" diameter PVC , I saw that this has a MaX capaxity of 3.25" , so I thought I would be able to use it on a 3" pvc(sched 40).What I did not factor in was the width of the overall pipe which made it 3.5" wide total. I was not able to cut it off cleanly as it was too snug. I had to rotate the pipe as I cut it. It eventually worked but lesson learned. Installing the band was simple enough, as there ia a tensioning lever to loosen and tighten the band. This saw does not have the dual handle actuator like the other recent one. The led worked but I wished it was a little brighter, I honestly do not recall if it shut off right away. In addition to my PVC I used this for pruning a few limbs, I have a chainsaw, but did not want to use it. This worked, but you just have to be mindful of your approach, if you do not position it properly, it can run away from the workpiece as oppose to go straight through it. This lost a star from me because I would like to see a cover provided with this kit to protect the the band during transport. The 3.0 batteries are very light, I have not compared it to my 5.0 batteries and regular ones to see how tge high output compares but I plan on doing so soon.

This is a really impressive Bandsaw kit. The cordless bandsaw is solid, yet lightweight. The high quality of the build is evident. I only wish that I had more pipe that needed cutting today. The 10TPI blade that is included cut smoothly, quickly, and didn't require filing after the cut. The blade speed is variable, controlled by the trigger. There is an LED work light that comes on when the trigger is pulled. This is a kit. It includes a large carrying bag which I prefer over hard cases. The two batteries are of a new (to me) design and are rapid charge type. The dual charger replaces my existing one as it is made for the newer rapid charge batteries, while being backward compatible with earlier Lithium-Ion Milwaukee batteries. I noticed that the new batteries carry a two-year warranty whereas my older batteries have a three-year warranty. The new batteries were not charged upon arrival. However, when charged with the new Rapid Charger, it seemed like 20 minutes to full charge. However, I didn't time it so I could be off a bit on that.

This is one awesome and powerful saw. I have always wanted a portable band saw and being battery powered takes this to the next level. It is well balanced and comfortable to work with. The folding hook on the side is great because the unique shape of it makes it hard to set down safely just any place. The hook is handy for hanging on a ladder, pipe or joist. The blade is easy to install and replace and requires no tracking adjustment. The battery has a good life and since the kit comes with two, you can use one while recharging the other. The saw has plenty of power and handles all the cutting I need with ease. I wish it had a hard case like some their higher-end models. The carry bag is OK but it has not dividers so everything is just stuck in there together.
