Worked great-batter lasted 30 minutes

I have it for three week. I use it three times around the yard. It works great for home use.

Can’t complain. The best electric I’ve tried.

By far the best weed eater I’ve ever used!

Very easy to use, we have a big fenced in yard and it only takes half battery to do the whole thing.

Good in theory and liked it at first with power to spare. I never had to take it out of "turtle" mode. One season of light use and the 9.0 battery wouldn't hold a charge this summer. I was getting about 5 minutes of runtime so I took it into an authorized service center 6 weeks ago and have heard nothing. They charged me $10 shipping and sent my $199.00 battery back to Milwaukee. So now I have a dead unit that I paid a premium for. This was my first Milwuakee product so it's not like I had an arsenal of batteries to hold me over. I'm also not looking to throw $100/s more into batteries if this is the type of support I recieve. My weeds are grateful. Also, like others, I had trouble with the head wearing out very quickly. It was a cool idea, but was a joke how quickly the plastic ground down. It's as if they never field tested it. I put another brand's replacement head on and it has held up much better. I really expected this to be remedied quickly. Especially after the service center explained that the 9.0 batteries have a known issue. There is nothing to fix (I already replaced the head). I just need a working battery....

Pleasantly surprised at the power of this cordless weed eater. The only thing I would add is a bracket for a shoulder strap.

Great trimmer at a great price

I've had this just over a month now. It's the best trimmer I have purchased (and I've purchased quite a few over the years). It's very smooth with little vibration, the battery lasted me pretty much as they advertised about 1 hour. What I really like is the ease with the string release, it didn't break/snap the string and also the string is durable and seemed to last much longer before needing to extend. It costs a bit more than others, but definitely worth the extra money.

Arived D.O.A. (NOT WORKING).Have had the trimmer for ALMOST A MONTH! The store won't trade it out for a new one. They want me to send it in to Milwaukee tools for warranty. I didn't buy a refurbished tool. I bought a new tool that doesn't work. So if I send it in and Milwaukee tools rebuilds it, that makes it refurbished. I AM NOT HAPPY!

Great product. Battery is a beast. Lasts well more than an hour. Only issue I had was shipping. Took almost 3 weeks to arrive. Would have been even longer getting it shipped to my local store which I couldn’t understand.

Low noise easy to use slightly heavier but because it battery electric I can tip it up against my shoulder and walk along slowly trimming with ease!!!

Plenty of power for grasses and small branches/twigs. Very satisfied with run time at full throttle. Recharged quickly. Just wished it had a shoulder strap to make it easier to carry

Impressive to say the least, makes trimming and edging a breeze. The 9.0 lasts well over the hour in the lower speed and the easy reload head (came pre loaded) was ready to go right outta the box. No brainier for the guy who is already in the M18 line and worth the investment for those just looking for a quality cordless trimmer.

I am very impressed and happy with this purchase. It actually seems to be more powerful than my old gas powered trimmer! It does an excellent job at cutting through some weed growth that I had ignored for too long. Well done Milwaukee!! Now I’m looking at the Fuel blower.

My old weed trimmer broke and after a lot of research, I went ahead and purchased this one. Putting together the few pieces were easy, but the included "High Demand 9.0Ah battery and rapid charger" kept showing that the battery was broken. Tried several outlets and after checking both online guides and the manual to make sure I had done everything in my power, I could finally verify that the battery in fact is broken. Would love to be able to say something better than this, but as I can't use my new string trimmer at all, and instead have to look at my weeds growing by the day, I honestly am not very happy at all. Will update after speaking to support about getting a battery that is not broken, and after being able to use my $300 trimmer.

Great mid level weed eater that does the job. Has good battery life. Low maintenance. Perfect for homeowners.

way better than a gas trimmer. nice balance, no gas smell what’s not to like?

Used against heavy thistle growth (thistle forest!), battery and I both give out in about an hour. Trimmer does work well except for the line bump-feed feature which I can never get to work. I have to remove cap and unwind spool manually to let out fresh line. Also wish guard were wider; I still get splattered with bits of plant matter.
