The Mohawk underpad for my rug helps a lot but the rug still crawls some. Nothing like it was doing. I was repositioning the rug on the carpet multiple times a day. Now I’m only having to move it an inch or so every couple of days. Not unhappy with my purchase.

Perfect! I had purchased a 9x12 area rug and this this pad was exactly what was needed. The rug lays beautifully on in and it helps make the rug feel more comfortable to walk on.

The pad is super thick and heavy; I used it to hold a carpet rug in place; it has a very strong smell like tire rubber...

This rug pad is very thick, and hence makes walking on the rug comfortable. I also agree with another customer that the initial smell is overpowering, so I also aired it outside for a day. Once it was under the rug I couldn't smell it anymore!

Fits perfectly and feels great

I was expecting the pad to be the same size of the rug I bought, but it is larger and I have to trim it. It is thick and pretty heavy duty so trimming it will be difficult for me. It is not what I expected. I guess I did not read the description. I thought it was going to be the rubberized thin type of pad, but this is a thick felted type pad. Good heavy pad, just not what I thought. I will keep it and trim off the excess.

The liner is easy to cut to size, and it holds the rug well on our hard wood floors.
