I ordered 4 bags of salt , but received only one bag. Each bag weighs 20 lbs. Home Depot insists they delivered the bags, however, only one bag in a box delivered , 24 lbs. Home Depot refused to issue a refund , siting the 4 bags we delivered.

Well worth the price for someone who has difficulty lugging 40lb bags, comes in a strong bag with nice handle.

I have found the Morton Waves water softener bars which is packaged in a 20 lb bag with a reinforced handle for easy lifting and carrying. I was able to buy more at the store and stock up because the bag is a weight that I can transport from the store to my car to my house. The bars are so easy to stack into our water softener and now I can store extra bags more easier for future use. A dreaded chore now much easier to complete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say that I am super impressed by these salt bars. These are honestly one of the best inventions out there for water softener salt. The older I get the harder it is to carry those big bags of salt from the store to my home and into the basement, and then try to lift it again to put it into my water softener. That all has changed with these salt bars. Now I am able to carry and easily put them into my water softener. I love that the bag is resealable and has a convenient handle to make carrying them so much easier. The quality of the product is exactly what I was expecting. I could not be happier with these bars. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone who struggles to carry those heavy bags and wants a product from a well known and trusted brand as you will not be disappointed in these.

I am used to dragging heavy bags of crystal form sodium chloride and having to store open bags in the garage. I love how Morton Waves have made carrying, using and storing salt significantly easier by compacting the salt into bars that is compatible in all softener tank systems, can be stacked horizontal and vertically, has very little breakage, (which also means no spilled salt in my floor from dumping heavy bags) is also useable but I love the lighter weight of the bars in an easy to carry and store plastic bag with handle. Morton Waves done a much better job of softening my entire house’s water that I could both feel the difference while taking a shower and taste an improvement while drinking regular tap water. I’m switching my salt and will continue to use Morton Waves!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these Morton - Morton Waves Clean and Protect Water Softener Salt Bars because my wife can handle them easily. Each bag comes with 20 pounds worth of salt. They have a handle which is great for moving them around. Then once the bag was opened, I discovered that the salt bars were in four smaller pieces. this makes it easy for my wife to handle and for myself when my back isn’t feeling so great. I can imagine older people probably like these too because of that. They work exactly the same way my large salt bricks work and keep my water from being too hard. I would definitely get these again.

The strong handle is helpful for moving the salt bars around. It's really easy to get into the bag with the simple tear feature. The salt blocks have a nice uniform wave design which facilitates efficient storage. I was able to add the salt bars to the salt that was already in the brine tank with no problems. Morton Waves Clean and Protect salt bars does a great job softening my water. I was already using Morton salt in my water softener brine tank. Now, with these bars, things just got a lot easier!

They are not messy like the pellets that I normally use. They work effectively in keeping the rust from forming in my toilet and shower. They keep the shower soft and gentle on our skin and allow us to use less shampoo and body wash. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bag was easier to carry. Took little space and easy to unpack and fill. The salt bricks were hand size and made the unloading a breeze. A total of four bricks and done. One bag counts as half a 40lb bag. It would be ideal to buy two. Clean and protect your water and tank.

Seem to dissolve faster than the smaller cubes

Was broken up, every bag. Left in a pile by my basement door. Will not be ordering this again.

I have only used 4 bars, so not certain yet. It is much easier than 40 lb. bags.

We love the convenience of the Morton Waves. They're easy to load into our softener and don't take up much room when storing them. We were glad to find them available at Home Depot.

package came almost 5 days late was delivered in poor condition. all broken in pieces. totally defeating the purpose of 5 pound blocks the smaller pieces disovled in less than 4 days. cannot recommend this seller and product delivery. although this product is now discontinued.

These 20 pound salt packs are much much easier to use and handle, especially for those who are elderly. These used to be stocked in my local Greensburg PA store but for some reason they were discontinued. Shipping the 6 salt packs I ordered was a nightmare! Broken open and lost product!
