We have looked for a fire pit/fire column for our deck for some time. Quality and size were a significant consideration as was it aesthetically fitting in. The 19.5" x 19.5" was a perfect solution. The unit was exceptionally well packaged for protection during shipping and arrived undamaged. Set up was simple and easy. We substituted fire glass in lieu of lava rock. The electronic ignition for the unit is a very nice feature and the access door for placing the propane tank inside the column blends in very well with the column design. We have had the unit for one month and have been very pleased with its operation. The unit also comes with a pretty durable cover. There is a manufacturer's cautionary note about cold weather storage of the unit and living in MN we will be watching that closely as we use our deck all year round. We are very pleased with the unit and highly recommend it. The pricing was very competitive and reasonable for a unit of this quality.

The Laguna Stone MGO Fire Pit with 40,000 BTU output puts out a large amount of heat.. it is perfect for our balcony for the cool spring evenings after a warm day... Although I prefer glass rather than the lava rock, it does a nice job of giving the fire an even glow at night... Our apartment complex allows propane grills an fire pits but no charcoal.. so this fits the bill.

Nice heater that I put in the backyard. The stone design of it looks like real stone and the fact I can put the lava rock in it makes it more decorative. It was really easy to set up. It’s basically set up to just add lava rock and connect a propane tank. It gives off a good heat and adjust good from low to high easily. It even comes with a touch up pen marker so can fix any scuffs. Comes with a nice cover to protect it when not in use. Its like a portable fire pit without wood. Gave the backyard a nice heated space to relax and it’s a great design. I like it better than the tall heaters.

Exactly what we were looking for! This beautiful fire pit came completely assembled. The only thing we had to do was remove the box of lava rocks from inside the base and spread across the top of the unit, then attach our propane tank. It is easy to use with the control knob on the side of the unit and has graduated settings from low to high. It has a very attractive stone finish and a nice height to it. Very pleased!

Exceeded expectations. This stone fire pit is a high end looking fire pit anyone would be happy to incorporate into their backyard decor. The only thing you need to do is 1) spread the lava rocks per location precautions from the manual, 2) install the propane gas tank and 3) install AAA battery (included) for the igniter. There is a door on one of the 4 sides that you pull from the top that gives you access to the interior. The other 3 sides have handle like openings for easy carry/movement. Operation is pretty easy like any BBQ you own. Turn the gas on and bleed gas if necessary then use the igniter to light the fire pit. A water proof cover is also provided to protect the fire pit while not in use. The shipping packaging is exceptional and is about the best I have seen. I was worried when I got a glimpse of our delivery folks ignoring the fragile and this side up markings on the package. The fire pit is not light but they decided a dolly was not necessary even though I offered mine. Once I opened the box I was very impressed with the focus on product protection. Kudos to the manufacturer to ensure the product arrives with no damage.

We have had this Laguna Square Stone Fire Pit for a couple of months now and are very happy with it. Although we have had way more summery evenings than winter evenings, the 40,000 BTU output is excellent. I really like the way it is designed to place the propane tank inside the pit and have it totally hidden and not have the tank in the way or blocking traffic around the pit. It is a bit tall and has made us either plan to get taller outside furniture or to re-arrange the deck so that it is more comfortable. My plan is to purchase multi-colored fire rocks (glass) to make it even prettier. One more note. This pit is HEAVY! It is not likely to get knocked over in a medium/heavy wind.
