Great Investment, HIGHLY recommend
We recently installed a new arbor/patio cover in our back yard. We heard about the OZCO line through a friend and thought we would try it out. We were on the fence about trying it due to the added costs, but we decided to add them to our patio based on good reviews from some past clients. Adding these to our patio was the BEST decision we made! They took our patio from "nice" to "amazing" and a real showstopper. Not only do they add reinforced structure, but they look great and really add an extra touch to take your patio to the next level. We've already received so many compliments and I would highly recommend investing in the parts when you build your patio. The hardware looks great and we could not be happier.

Even though the new trim plates had 4 holes in them the holes didn’t line up with them OWT plates I had previously purchased. I had to modify the new trim plates to match with the old.

Recently I ordered the OWT Truss Accent Plates to add to my pavilion Tee Ties and I was sent an older version of the accent plates that did not have the correct hole pattern. I contacted Jerry Trahan, the Ozco National Sales Manager, and he went the extra mile to make sure that I got the correct plates to complete my project. So, my contractor was building an overhang on the side...
So, my contractor was building an overhang on the side of the house. And, at the joint where the wood meets, it wasn’t lining up. I found this solution, and it worked out! Instead of using the large bolts, my husband suggested we use the smaller ones we had to be consistent. I am very pleased!

Great Look!
Loved the look, but that is all it is. You pay the high price only to get half of the bolts for the product you purchase. Nope you only get 2 of the 4 bolts for the 4 holes in your decorative panel. Also the "bolts" are fake; they are actually wood screws you cover with a fake resin cover...Wow! So back to the store you go to pay additional price and time for something you should have already had in first place. And it's not "optional" as it's necessary to have all parts.

Hi Julie. Thank you for your feedback on the Truss Accent plates. The 4 holes created in the truss accent plate are designed to accommodate either screws or through (carriage) bolts (sold separately) - depending on how the plates will attach. We include the wood screws because we can gauge how thick the wood is, but cannot guess the depths of beams being used. Also, if you will notice when you put the wood screws in the smaller holes and attach the hex cap nut, it will cover the hole for the through bolt so that it doesn't show. Also, our through bolts (with built in hex cap nut) cover the hole for the screw once it is in place. All 4 holes were not intended to be used. The Hex Cap Nut cover and insert are all made from aircraft aluminum and are powder coated and are very high quality. OZCO uses high quality materials for a reason - to make these truss ties, brackets, and accessories as solid and sturdy as possible for your building projects. They are not inexpensive!
