[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this Oatey® Fast Set Heavy Duty Gray PVC Cement while doing a plumbing repair in my home and what can I say, but it gets the job done. This cement paste is easy to apply and was quick drying so my repair job was made easier.

The Gray PVC cement is ideal for use with electrical conduits. The gray color matches the conduits to keep the job neat and clean with a nice finish. The 16 oz. can is for small to medium size projects. The brush-in-can feature is great as you have the applicator with the product. There are plenty o precautions to take when using this product with eye protection a must. The product flows smooth and works very fast. Be sure that you are completely ready to make that seal once you apply it. Apply the product to both pieces being joined and use liberally. Push the pieces together and align very fast as this product will set almost instantly. Use in well ventilated areas.

Oates Fast Set Heavy Duty Gray PVC cement.....This is a great product I use it in all my PVC jobs from plumbing to sewer and waste vent systems. Just like it says on the product it sets up fast.....works well between temps 40 degrees and 110 degrees Fahrenheit . Comes in a 16fl.oz can.....the lid sometimes can be hard to unscrew from the can. This is my only complaint, but nothing a pair of channel locks can't fix. It does have a strong fume so you may choose to wear a respirator in tight places or use in a well ventilated area. It works with all schedules and classes of PVC and fittings up to 18". 2 hours full cure time. Brush in can applicator..........

It says fast set but it takes a while to set … which is great for plumbing use. Let’s you play with it while the glue dries which is why this is my go to glue. It holds extremely good when it dries but don’t use when it’s wet as it won’t adhere but for rough ins, it’s absolutely perfect with the slow set in order to work those tough angles when your doing the vents.

Glue held where no other glue was working.

This product does not crystalize like other products do.

Excellent product, very effective adhesive.

It helped me to quickly install irrigation pipe and fittings and is super easy to apply with an in-lid applicator. I was able to use it on various schedules and classes of PVC pipe, both pressure and non-pressure items. Oatey has been a staple in my plumbing toolbox for decades and I love their products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glue adheres thick, maintains a nice seal and welds the plastic together. Apart from the expected (and totally normal) intense fumes (use in well ventilated area) the curing time was much longer than I expected.
