I use this as a presoak before my regular detergent. This works better than anything I've tried on our sports & gym clothing. It gets all the smell out (even spandex!) without damaging the clothes. I use it on our regular clothes too and it works great.

We wash all of our fitness/athletic wear to keep items odor free. Also, great for washing down and all washable jackets.

It works well on gym clothing.

I found this is the BEST detergent for washing my hunting clothes. I wash everything from my Under Armor to my rain wear with it. It kills the odor and doesn't leave one. No UV brighteners are hard to find.

The detergent works as advertised. However the cap strips on the threads when you try to tighten it down, so it can leak if tilted or squeezed hard. (a) do not have this shipped from the store unless you can get someone to tape the cap shut b/ tape the cap shut if you need to take the bottle to a laundry-mat.

After around 3 weeks I found it performs no better than my laundry detergent.

This product worked well in keeping exercise clothing from getting that smelly sweat odor. Odoban met my expectations.

It is a great product at a great price. I use it for all of my dry-fit clothing and I find that it works best when you let the load of laundry soak (as directed) for about 15 min. prior to washing. The stain remover is great too. I have not tried the other products in this line, but have been satisfied so far!

It’s a great product. I’ve had it shipped the house and the store, both times at least one bottle leaked.

If you sweat a lot or use sports tech clothing, adding this to your normal detergent works miracles on killing odor! As a long distance running who sweats when the temperature is 32 or higher... I strongly recommend.

I wish they would carry this in the store. I have a lot of sports clothes that say to use neutral soap. This is and it works great. No need for that sticky blue stuff that is in the big brand. It doesn't even have perfume smells and the clothes come out clean. The company that makes this wrote back and confirmed it is neutral and non aggressive. I have been using it about a month now.

First of all - been using Odoban Laundry Disinfectant Laundry Air Freshener for a while now and never ever ever ever have not used it in my laundry - that's how good it is. Today I received and am now trying it for the first time the Sports Edge Odor Release Laudry Detergent. There's no Perfumes, Dyes, or UV Brighteners, so I already know that before my laundry finishes - it's already amazingly so fresh and so clean. This BrooklynDiva55 does 100% absolutely positively A+ believes in the OdoBan brand. Use it for extreme sports/athltic wear & gear, high-tech fabrics, military uniforms and more. I just love me some OdoBan!

My son plays football in the steamy South. Sometimes his dry-fit clothing and person smelled so bad after practice that we had to ride home with the car windows down. I looked online for solutions, and someone suggested soaking the clothing in a bucket with Dawn dish liquid. That worked for the wash, but didn't hold up until after practice. It was so bad that he was thinking about switching to white cotton T-shirts. This Odoban Sports Edge keeps the odor at bay in the dry-fit even through practice. It was so bad before that the clothing could go through the washer more than once and still stink. I wish Home Depot sold this product in stores, so I didn't have to mail order it. But I will be keeping it on hand at my house all the time. After football comes wrestling and then track. So we have a lot of dry-fit clothing to wash.

I wish I could say I tested this on clothing that a skunk had attacked, but you just can't find one when you need one. So next best thing, sweat socks and kids gym clothes. Rather than cover up any odors with perfumes or other scented fragrances, this left the clothes smelling.... really neutral. I could not detect any odors left on the clothes at all. So I have to say it works!. What did strike me as odd what that this was labeled as triple concentrate. But compared to the measurement of regular gain detergent, the Sports Edge had me measure out two thirds of what I normally use. So, the measurement on the cap may cause you to use twice the amount you actually need. I will have to run a few more tests to see if reducing the quantity effects its efficiency. And if you hate the regular detergent smells, this seems to be a nice alternative. The ingredients only state it has enzymes and surfactants, so I'm not sure what it really contains. I assume they have tested for allergies, I have an eczema sufferer in the house, and will have to see if there are any reactions.

This detergent works well to kill sweat smells on things that would not do well with bleach. Oddly, the only place you can buy this is HD online. Used to be at WM and a couple of other outlets, but now only at HD.

I'm a runner and my gym clothes can get pretty stinky so I was excited to try Sports Edge which is specifically designed for activewear. I've previously used Tide Sport with Febreeze in it, which has a very heavy scent, but I prefer the Sports Edge because it doesn't smell really perfumed like other laundry detergents. It's a highly concentrated formula, so I've only been using up to the "2" fill line in the cap on a regular-sized load. lt removed the body odor from my gym clothes effectively, but definitely left the fragrance of my deodorant underneath the arms. (Luckily, it's a pleasant smell). Perhaps I need to try fill in the cap up to the maximum "3" fill line or pre-treating those areas directly with the detergent. But overall, this works great for getting the stink out of sports clothes and it's a great value.

As a runner I go through a lot of laundry. I used to get bothered by the scent of detergent or fabric softener on my workout clothes, and then by the unique odor of sweat soaked performance fabric. That is all much better now. Not that my sweaty clothes don't stink any more, but it seems less. The fabric seems a little softer, too. I like that as I start to heat up, there is no perfume odor rising from my shirt. This detergent is compatible with our new high efficiency washer. The small bottle will last a long time.

Unlike other detergents, this detergent really does remove the odor from sweaty, smelly clothes. It doesn't leave any scent or odor, just clean clothes. We use this for dog bedding and the bedding comes our fresh and clean and odor-free. Rags we use for car detailing also come out clean and odor-free. This detergent is also very economical- a little goes a long way.
