We go through a lot of water bottles, trying to drink filtered water at home. When I received the opportunity to try PUR Plus Faucet Filtration System, I jumped at the chance. The instalation was a breeze as it just clicks into place on your sink. We did have to use an adapter that was provided in the kit as it did not connect to the existing one. They gave several options to use in order to find the right fit. It also comes with a couple of charcoal filters that just set gently into the unit. The biggest issue was having to run the water for 30 mins to set the filter to properly work. But once it ran that initial time, I gave the water a taste. I never drink directly out of the sink due to the taste. This filter eliminated the chlorine taste and made it very drinkable. You can easily switch from the filtered drinking water to the regular stream out of the faucet by flipping the end switch. It is a little bulky, but having it horizontal vs the vertical options saved some space. We will now be saving some money by drinking this filtered water instead of buying bottles and causing environmental issues. Definitely recommended to all.

It comes with an adapter for just about any type of faucet, and it just screws right in to begin filtering. The water definitely tastes better with the filter. I was a bit disappointed that it doesn’t filter out microbes, but it filters out enough to be worth it and significantly improve water quality. It’s very sleek and not terribly big. It is a bit bulky at the end of the faucet, but you get used to it. Flow could be a little faster when filtering, but overall it’s pretty nice, and it’s handy that you can easily switch between filtering and running the regular tap.

All the way down to running the faucet in filter mode for 5 minutes to make sure it works correctly. We have a well system and have a lot of issues with calcium buildup and an overall funky aftertaste.

The PUR plus faucet filter provides up to 3 months of cleaning and pure-tasting clean water that can be used for drinking, preparing, or making food. I also didn't see any leaks or defaults. It comes with one filter and it has two years warranty! Knowing that the water is filtered through the Pur water filter I feel more confident and safe. The brand thought about every detail like a switch that you can change to tap water when not needed or the light that warns you when the filter needs to be replaced. Also, we can save so much on bottled water. I trust the PUR filter and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this PUR Plus water filtration system this makes my water taste so much better this was simple to install this reduces 70 contaminants including lead this filters water over natural minerals for a crisp great taste straight from the tap you can save thousands per year compared with the cost of buying bottled water and this helps reduce plastic waste and keep it out of landfills the light will change on this when it’s time to change the filter which I love my family and I are enjoying this so much I would definitely recommend this

I’m not a fan of tap water, but hadn’t yet invested in a faucet purification system. I’ve used my tried and true Brita and on occasion, water bottles. Needless to say, the water lover in me was hyped! Would I notice a difference in the taste of water? Would I like it enough to use it continuously? Would the system get in the way of how I use my sink? Installation was a breeze. I was able to install this in less than five minutes. Now, this is a bit bulky and it takes time to get used it. While I’m still adjusting, I find that it gets in the way at times. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me, as it’s not a big deal. However, I wanted to note that. It takes up space and takes away from the flexibility of using your sink. Thankfully I just use my sink to rinse dishes to put in the dishwasher. In terms of the taste of the water, wow. What a distinct difference from the tap water. The water tastes absolutely amazing. No harsh chemical, chlorine, lead, etc taste detected. My water tastes clean and just feels great going down my throat. I love it so much that I no longer am buying water bottles at the store, and also not utilizing my Brita. This is just so convenient, and I can have clean, filtered, great tasting water at my disposal. This would be a perfect product if it weren’t so bulky and big. But, I’m willing to compromise and deal with it, for the amazing taste of the water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PUR , I'm using faucet filters, works great--water tastes great BUT the units leak rapidly. Then in addition to the water spout that gives you filtered water, you'll see a drip drip drip on the bottom elsewhere.

Love the design and the green light that it gives, as if signaling that the water is clear to drink. I also love the option to have the water come out regular or extra filtered, from high pressure to low pressure. And there’s no metal taste.

Not only does it filter out 70 different types of chemicals and physical substances it’s the also certified to filter out microplastics, which now we are learning can also be in tap water. It’s not a huge filter, it’s nice and compact, it’s not too bulky where to takes to too much room. It not an eyesore. It’s a great addition to any sink that will fit.

It also makes me feel better about making ice from the faucet since I know it’s been filtered, not pure tap water which I think is gross. The water taste great and it’s nice helping the environment not using so many plastic bottles and it’s also a lot cheaper and healthier for you.

Says the filter can last up.to 3 months and even buying new filters i will save money from not buying as much bottled water. I will be sure to purchase the filters in the future. The only complaint I have is that my faucet is a little low so there isnt much room between the pur system and the center divider for my double sink. Still havent had issues but could see how someone might.

My roommate and I normally use a Brita pitcher to filter water so I was excited about the aspect of skipping a step and having it filter automatically. So far I’m impressed, seems to filter well and not really affect the pressure!

The instructions were clear to understand and the preparation time was quick. I also love that it has a light indication to show you when the water is ready to use. It takes 5 seconds and I already have filtered water. I haven’t noticed any negative difference with the taste of the water. It tastes refreshing and clean.

You can turn a knob and switch it on or off, which is nice. I've been using it for coffee and I'm seeing less hard water buildup in the tank.
