I’m finishing my basement and did the framing myself. I needed a framing gun and it was this one the rigid. This was on sale so I took this one home. It is light but only takes one cartridge of nails. Yes toenails don’t go all the way through even at 120 psi but if you only toenail inside the frame you will be fine. Like it because it’s is light and easy to use and fits about anywhere. Straight nails are perfect. I can’t imagine working with a heavier gun but I’m not a pro and for me it did the job. Very happy and a great buy for a DIYer.

Outstanding! Put up 5 sections of privacy fence picket by picket shortly after receiving it. Not one misfire to date.

This nailer is quite and gets in small places. Easy to load and doesn’t jam. The price was great too.

I’ve used the heck out of this nailer (not by choice) and it will get you by for most everything but don’t expect a lot of power. I’d say this is a niche remoder gun. It’s light and very easy for small spaces. But you have to put a ton of body weight on it to get it to toenail correctly. It does have decent barbs on the nose which is nice

Great tool. We have been using Paslode tools for decades. This compact gun is a great addition. Several pounds lighter that our other guns.

Very light and you get a lot of feedback from this nailer. Does seem to set a little shallow probably because it is so light. Works great with Paslode paper nails but only holds one stick since its short.

very easy to use and balance. Weight is not cumbersome.

For what we need it for worked great. We only used it a few times to finish our bathroom.

The weight of this nailer makes a huge difference. Very satisfied with gun performance; using on large outdoor deck installation. Read many reviews before purchase, for those having problems with nails not fully penetrating, I suggest to be sure to use a 3/8” air hose, this will make a difference. I have been very satisfied with this nailer!

This is very lightIt works extremely well

Framing nailer functions very nicely, is lightweight and easy to use. While I have had it only a couple of weeks, it has performed superbly in constructing a 16x20 building. Highly recommended.

I read some reviews I don't know what they are talking about first of all it states that it doesn't come with a air fitting, At 90lb. air presure it drives 3" nails in 2x4's. Its much lighter than most air nailers and smaller but does the same job as far as I can see you can't beat it for the price.

Paslode guns are real quality. Have used them for forty years. This one is light and easy to use, but it doesn't necessarily fit in to tighter places than my standard production Paslode framing gun. The magazine is much shorter, which helps in some cases, but from nailing tip to the rear of the case is about the same. Overall a good complement to the standard size gun. Just remember you have to reload twice as often, as it only holds one clip of nails.

Good tool, needed a backup to my paslode battery gun. It’s compact size is great for interior remodeling jobs.

Will not work with your compresser. Returning for a harbor frieght cheapo that will work with my current set up and save $30.00. Weekend warriors don’t have time for additional trips to the store their tool on top of the project!

I'm a DIY guy who thought I didn't need a "professional" framing nailer so I bought an inexpensive one. After 100 nails it jammed. I finally got it un-jammed but it wouldn't shoot at all after that. So with 100 nails shot I was left with a great many nails and no nailer. The full box of nails and the brand new nailer went into the trash. I THEN asked professionals what they use. Paslode was their reply. Since I'm a DIYer I didn't need the full length nailer and I was pleasantly surprised to find Paslode made this compact nailer. It's still the same nailer as the standard Paslode, but 2 pounds lighter and much easier to handle. It holds one reload of nails (41) rather than two reloads (82 nails). Not a problem for the DIYer. I immediately started working on all my projects and it has performed flawlessly. "You get what you pay for."

I give gun a 3 it dose not sink nails especially at angle and for the fact that they give nails but no ail outlet and it's 3/8 I have a bostich framer and it's much better

Nice tool. Fires every time, easy to handle. My only issue is the air connection. There isn't one. You have to figure out that you need an adapter, or a 3/8th connector. There's no reference to it in any of the documentation, nor is it included as one might expect.

Nice gun, but did not have air hose fitting. That was ridiculous.
