Medicine cabinet looks great from 3 feet, and is actually pretty sturdy. I had to return the first one because the double-sided tape used to attach the plastic mirror frame to the mirror was very visible on exactly one half of the mirror. The second one I received was barely better (attached pictures are from the second “better” mirror), so I decided to just stick with it. I presume the mirrors are stored on their sides once assembled and by the time they get here from China, they’ve sagged. Same as other reviews, the recessed mount aluminum trim is unnecessarily shoddily constructed. Also, be aware for recessed mount the door will open only 90 degrees before rubbing against the wall. I was looking forward to using the large mirror on the backside of the door, but that’s limited now. Finally, the manufacturer also put unnecessarily large permanent writing on the glass shelves (won’t come off with a razor blade). Overall, if I could find a similar medicine cabinet, I’d skip this one. 3 of 5 stars.

As I was looking for mirrors for the bathroom; I knew I wanted something a little different in shape. I searched for oval mirrors and when the picture of the mirror populated I immediately was excited and knew it would go with my color theme for the bathroom. I absolutely love it and it's also a medicine cabinet and the price was affordable!!! Love it! Love it!

I wish I could give this mirror 4.5 stars. It really exceeded my expectations for a mirrored medicine cabinet in all aspects. My only "complaint" is the color. We have many other "espresso" finishes in our house and this does not look like them. Imagine the color of your coffee if you brewed it double strength and didn't put anything in it-- it's basically black with a "possible" hint of mildly-metallic brown. I tried to capture this in my pictures, check them out. I'm a designer and I relate everything to paint colors-- this frame matches BM Bittersweet Chocolate 2114-10. (I know someone out there will appreciate that reference!) Other than that, I LOVE the fact that it has the mirrors mounted on the sides and throughout the entire inside. It feels very high end at an extremely reasonable price compared to others we found locally. It is very sturdy and, at least for the surface mount like we did, it was very easy to install. Adds much needed storage in a classy way! It's a two person job to install, simply because it's a little awkwardly heavy and too hard to balance with just one (I tried...) but definitely worth the 15 minutes of time. The other thing I'd like to note is that for some reason I expected the frame to be wood (I suppose because of the espresso reference) but it's plastic. It doesn't feel cheap or anything, just worth noting. Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was exactly what I was looking, lots of great features of interior mirrors, good shelves, pretty looking. But, within 6 months, the magnet pulled away from the inside of the door which is also a mirror. We tried glueing it with multiple glues and it lasted for another few months but has pulled away again. Then the 2nd one we have did the same thing and none of the glue would work. We're trying epoxy next.

The mirror looks beautiful but the quality is very poor. I wish I knew in advance the terrible design of the magnetic closure. This mirror lacks in durability I only had it up for a few months and the magnet that keeps the mirror door closed completely came off because it's glued on! Expensive mirror with cheap magnetic design. Very disappointing.

This is beautiful! Yes the frame is plastic but the cabinet and mirrors are solid. Doesn’t read as plastic, I can’t imagine how heavy this would be if frame was wood! I did not hang this myself, I had it done and am glad I did! Did not have the problem others had written about with the edge of the frame digging into drywall when opening door. They must have fixed that? My installer used the metal strips that were included to offset the cabinet just enough so that is not an issue. Glass shelves are great, solid and traditional. Just feel better ( and sound better) than the plastic shelves you see today.

I like the product, but the information did not give the size for the inside of the cabinet, which is very small.

The mirror is very pretty. It is fairly close to the description. The medicine cabinet is probably one of the larger ones I have seen with an oval mirror. It needs to be emphasized that a small part of the medicine cabinet will extend past the wall so that the door will open. Ergo, the opening in the wall needs to be finished.

Poor quality and missing parts. Don’t waste your money on this product.
