Silicone went on easily in a nice bead and stopped leaking smoke from bbq grill smoker.

Used this instead of ordering stock gasket on draft inducer motor. Saved quite a bit of time not having to research.

This hightemp silicon seems to do the trick. It was a little more difficult to spread than I expected, but it is sealing as advertized.
