The chute broke after the second use - the engine...
The chute broke after the second use - the engine started leaking gasoline and wouldnt start after the 6th use.

Engine won't stop when took out the key!!!!
Engine won't stop when took out the key,need to wait for gas to run out for the engine to stop running. CUSTOMER SERVICE advice to call fire department if there is smoke from the engine due to said situation. Closer service center is very far in another state. Because is weekend the HQ is close and was ask to call on Monday to issues the problem.Why they didn't offer to call me on Monday instead of me calling them.Bed service!!!!

Have yet to a have rirst snow fall as I purchased the PR100 prior. BUT - easy to install and startup! Seems like a winner and my experience matches others who commented prior to first use! I expect everything to be GREAT!!!!!!!!!

3rd winter here in Montana works great starts 1st or 2nd pull every time. It is light enough for my wife to start and use if I am out of town. Snow is light here blows10-12 " with no problem happy with it

Opened up the box and found there is no dip stick. It does not stay running for some reason for some reason. I bought it last year but never took it out of the box due to a mild winter. I would not recommend it.

I bought this three years ago (currently has two seasons worth of use) for use on a forty foot long, flat driveway in Utah. It handled the light stuff easy up to about a foot deep. Deeper stuff required more passes but it never had a problem throwing the snow. I recently moved to a lake on Connecticut. My snow blower is the envy of the lake! It's the only one that removes snow straight down to the ice: it leaves a perfect finish after a snow fall. I just changed the oil for the first time. I don't get why some people are having a hard time finding the dip stick... did they look? It's bottom left, right next to the oil pan.
It launches snow much farther than I thought a single stage blower could. The neighbors driveway is like 20 feet away and I'd have no problem loading it up with my snow if I wanted to.
This is the easiest starting pull-cord device I own, beating out two weed whackers, a chain saw and an ice auger. Prime the heck out of it and it starts in one, maybe two pulls. I haven't used the electric start yet because it wouldn't be worth the effort to get a cord out.
I bought mine for like $150, not sure I'd pay what home depot is currently asking for it ($340)

Just bought this machine.
I see lot of comments about Dip Stick, it is not where it mentions in the manual but if you are holding the snow blower like you'd operate it - look down all the way to the bottom left - you will find your dip stick to check the oil level. Manuel needs to be updated I guess!

Not durable
Bought this 1 1/2 years ago. Used last winter maybe 5 times. This season first use the muffler fell out of it. It is literally rotten off the mounting which is located under the top cover protected from the elements. This was never stored outside either. Poor quaility mounting for sure

Piece of Junk
I had an MTD snow thrower for close to 10 years and last Feb. I hit a newspaper in the driveway and broke the impeller drive. I needed a machine bad and as this was only one anyone had stock on due to the raging storm I bought it. It worked fine the rest of the season, I fixed the old MTD over the summer and gave to my daughter, wish I had it back
The first time I went to use it this season it was very hard to start, ran rough the whole job, stalled twice and was hard to restart both times.

Great snow blower for the price!
This snow blower really throws some snow! I actually have to be careful not to throw snow into my neighbors driveway! Will plow through snow up to about a foot or so but deeper and more compacted snow it will shut down and stall unless you blow a little at a time. For clearing my driveway and staying on top of the snowfall, this machine is absolutely perfect. Don't let the manual start fool you, this machine starts right up with ease! Two primes and an easy pull and it goes everytime! This is a really nice feature. This snow blower is small enough to handle easily but can really clear large driveways like mine in minimal time. I live in the Buffalo NY area and this is one of the best products I've ever bought for the price. It also doesn't use a lot of gas which in itself is surprising! RJDAN

Missing Part
Haven't fired it up yet. Looks good and solid. Problem is there is no Dip Stick provided as per the Owners Manual. Not sure when to stop adding oil. This is a basic and reqired part for operation and it was left out when building the unit. Good boxing, I hope I have a good piece of equipment. Can't find product support so I am complaining through this site. Sorry, if all would have been provided I probably would give it high ratings.
