I use this product before and like it . however during shipping one of the cans damaged and was leaking in the box luckily I need to use the product right away little disappointed and didn't realize it was leaking until it got in my vehicle

Preserva Wood Stain was easy to brush onto a wood trellis that I was building. Cleanup was better than expected. Rinsing the brush multiple times with water did the job. Really like the way it brought out the wood grain, and the colorization or marbling of the wood looks great. It can, however have a strong smell if it’s not some time to dry. Once dry most of the smell goes away. Definitely want to apply outdoors. Built the trellis approximately a month ago and stained at the same time. Most of the smell is gone. The finish product looks great and meets my expectations.

Love this product , the stain , goes on smooth and beautifully. My deck and handrails look great.

We used this on our new gazebo - followed directions exactly. 4 days later, in dry Colorado, it isn't dry. It's tacky and sticky! It's a mess! You can't touch it, little bugs are stuck in it, dog hair, it's gross. I called Home Depot and was told we have to use mineral spirits to wipe all this stain off, and then restain it with something else. I'm very disappointed in this product, and that HD would even sell it.

The color turn out darker and more yellowish than what I was looking for. When I applied it on a test board, it was pretty light in color, but once I have applied it my ceiling wood, it turn out darker.

This stain is easy to use unless it is too warm outside. Then harder to spread. In any case we have restained two backyard fences and getting ready to stain a third fence. All of these fences are 20 year old redwood. They now look like they have at least another 10 years in them. I would use this stain again!

I have used this product on outdoor arbors, trim and a garage door. It is easy to apply following manufacturer's directions. Since it is oil-based, I put down a drop cloth to catch drips. Wiping the wood down after the oil has penetrated is important to getting the beautiful finish. When I prepare my garage door by sanding it down, this stain and sealer makes a 30-year-old door look new again. I have to refinish it every few years because of intense sun.
