I was impressed with the speed of shipping to Hawaii (looks like my chair came from a Georgia warehouse) in less than 10 days. The chair is comfy and was super easy to set up by myself - just installed the recliner handle and two side cushions. The Caribbean color I requested and that is shown n the online image is not accurate. It is more of a denim blue color. It still works for me but they really should update the image. I do like the amount of padding and comfort and the scale of the chair is not large which I also like. I am 5'-8" and it fits me perfectly - taller/larger individuals may not find it a good fit. Overall, happy with the purchase.

So easy to set up and very comfortable. Would gladly recommend this Rocker Recliner to anyone.

The ProLounger Rocker Charcoal Gray Plush Low-Pile Velvet Recliner Chair was packed so well and smartly. Came in 5 pieces - back, seat, handle, and 2 sides to the back. Instructions were some of the best that's ever come with something needing assembly. Best ever! To protect them, each piece was covered with a light white piece of fabric. So it was great to see the extra care given to this piece of furniture. Once they were all unboxed and uncovered, each piece was labeled with stickers to assist with its assembly. Although the description says assembly would take 20 minutes, I think it took me about 5 minutes to complete it! The back fit easily onto the 2 metal arms attached to the seat which snapped right onto them. And then the back's flap velcroed to the bottom of the seat's frame. The back's wings slid right onto the back's sides. Once the handle was inserted correctly into the side of the seat - voila - it was done! The chair reclines and rocks very well - the mechanism seems stable and sturdy. No squeaks or noises. Since the chair was new, the seat cushion was somewhat stiff or firm and not soft when sat upon. It wasn't hard or like sitting on rocks but since it was new, it hadn't been broken in, that's all. I'm sure it will soften up over time. The chair's back was not as firm as the seat and it did give me adequate support. Looking at my initial assembly photos, the color looks to be a light gray. However, the charcoal gray is definitely a darker color, as seen in my final photo, so do keep that in mind based on where you are placing the chair. However, the seat's depth was short and not deep at all. So it actually kept me forward in the seat. I like to sit deeply into a chair and the seat did not offer me that. I know I'm picky but I don't like my feet to touch the floor when I'm sitting in the chair. My other issue with the recliner is that I would not consider the fabric to be "low pile velvet." It's just fabric. Maybe a microfiber but certainly not a kind of velvet or anything else special. It was just fabric. The chair will fit very nicely in a guest bedroom I have and should be just fine for company to sit in when staying with me or maybe when I just to sit in a quiet room and read a book. Based on the price and the chair itself, I believe it was an average value. It is a quality built rocker recliner.

I like this recliner chair. It is beautiful and comfortable. It will look classy in any setting. You have to assemble it as you do with most recliner chairs but that is easy to do. It went together in only a few minutes. It is easy to operate. My only negative is only because of my height. I am 6' 0" tall so this chair is not tall enough for me. My son who is a couple inches shorter than me loved it and it fit him well. I love that it has a handle to push out and retract the foot rest instead of just pressure.

This Charcoal Gray Plush Low-Pile Rocker-Recliner Chair by ProLounger is really nice! My wonderful bride loves her new chair. This chair comes in four well-packaged pieces and is extremely easy to assemble, in less than 5 minutes. The plush Charcoal Gray polyester velvet fabric is very attractive and will complement many types of décor. The fabric has a very nice feel to it, and appears to be heavy enough that it won’t wear out quickly. It should also be easy to clean. The padding and cushioning is extremely comfortable. We’ll probably have our aspiring seamstress 12 year-old granddaughter make covers for the arms to help reduce wear and soiling. Over the last 48 years, we’ve had a number of recliners, some of which cost a lot more than this one. This chair appears to be as well, if not better, made than any we’ve had to date. We can’t say enough good about this chair at this price point. I have to say that Handy Living customer service is outstanding! The chair had a minor issue with the operation of the lever which was very quickly resolved with one very helpful phone call. This kind of customer service is very hard to find today, and I highly commend them.

This rocker/recliner is a charcoal gray cloth material. It states that it is a low - pile velvet, but I don't agree. It is just low pile cloth to me. The arms aren't as high as I normally like, but that isn't a problem. It comes in 5 pieces. Base seat, back, 2 back side wings, and a recliner arm mechanism. It was packed very well in the box, and because it was disassembled, it made it much easier getting into the house. The assembly was easy too. The pictured instructions show you each step. It took about 10 minutes to assemble. The chair seems to be built nice and sturdy. All metal underside, and a nice smooth rocking motion. It reclines pretty easy and adjusts way back, so you can be almost flat, if you like. It has full leg support which makes it comfortable in the reclined position. I believe this chair should last quite a long time!

No doubt this is a very comfortable and relaxing chair. It's very soft the seat has just the right amount of firmness. It seems to be better suited for shorter people than myself. I am just over six feet tall and my head does not rest on the back cushion unless I tilt my head back and look at the ceiling. When I reclined it's great, well balanced and can relax without any tipping worries. Easy to assemble

This Prolounger rocker recliner chair is nice and looks like it will wear well. The mechanism is OK, but not as strong and sturdy as the much more expensive name brand. However, for the price, I think it is a good value and will preform well over it's lifetime. The fabric is attractive - hope it wears well. The chair itself is a bit firm for my taste so if you want a deep cushy chair this is not the one. Assembly was EASY - five minutes at the most.

We both love our chairs. They are comfortable and was easy to put together.

Easy to assemble and fairly comfortable chair for the money, but not that easy for elderly folks to rock, recline, and restore to upright position. After a few weeks of daily use and guidance, the chair becomes somewhat easier to use.

This chair is not comfortable at all. It makes creaking noises already brand new. The back pushes you too much forward and the headrest is too far back. Overall I'm not happy with this purchase at all.

Its a bit small(which is fine with me). The color looks good and was easy to assemble. But the cushion is stiff and can cause a little discomfort in your lower back. The rocking is stiff and the chair already squeaks pretty loud straight out of the box. Only reason im not returning it is because I don’t want to go through the whole return process.

Is not a Wallhugger definitely not 8”

Great quality for the price. It’s petite size is perfect for my office. I would definitely recommend it.

Curbside delivery was great. Employee brought the chair out. I showed him my driver's license to verify identity & signed for it. He helped my fiance load the chair into the back of the pick-up truck. Chair was very well packaged& protected. We actually took it out of the box outside to get it into our Lake trailer. It came in 4 pieces. It took about 10 minutes to put together. The chair back didn't go together smoothly. In hindsight, I believe more pressure was put on one side and not even pressure. We had to get a friend to pull the one side back out and then it clicked back into place. You don't sink into the chair. The seat cushion is very firm. The lever on the side makes it easy to raise & lower the foot rest. I'm 5'6" & it fits perfectly. If a person was much taller their head would not rest on the back of the chair.

This recliner is decent. Its comfortable to sit in but the rocking function as well as reclining is stiff. Very hard to put the foot rest down when done. Even sprayed WD40 on moving parts and didnt make much of a change. I wouldn't recommend this chair if it's for daily use, elderly, disabled or people with arthritis.

The recliner is perfect for me. Study and well made.

We actually had to return this chair. It had a fair price and seemed to be of good quality. And we really liked the color. We appreciate Home Depot working with us in the curbside pickup process and the return. However, the chair being a rocker / recliner tipped backwards and gave us small backaches when we sat in the chair for an extended time.

YES INDEED, I LOVE IT! HOWEVER IT MAKES AN [UNPLEASANT SOUND WHEN I ROCKIF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!] SHOULD I OIL IT? YOU THINK? OR WILL IT EVENTUALLY SUBSIDE, HERE'S HOPING! :)
