Plastic look flimsy and it broke once I cut a piece of wood. Wasted time waiting for it.

Great price! But the 90 degree cut is at 2 degrees to the right; the marks have no bearing on reality. Also, the laser indicator slides 3/32 to the right as you bring the blade down, so it's no more help than bringing the blade down to the line without starting the saw. Further, while the blade shield is highly effective - it covers almost all the blade that isn't contacting wood - it requires extra force to bring the blade down due to poor engineering. The tiny, 8-page 3"x4" instructions had essentially no illustrations, so if you don't already know what you're doing, this is probably not the saw for you. On the other hand, if you already know how to use a miter saw, and can improvise a a little, this was $20 less expensive than its nearest competitor, and it cuts like a dream. I whipped out a cedar closet with this saw in my spare time. Just...make sure you calibrate your square cut (and mark it with a felt tip pen before believing it,) and don't bother putting batteries in the laser.

too much free play from the arm. would never hold a 90 degree clean cut . Returned to store without any questions. would not recommend this saw.

Purchased as a gift and shipped elsewhere so never got to see it in person, but my brother in law was very pleased with it. And shipping was extremely quick. It is perfect for his needs around the house and projects that don't require a bigger and more expensive saw. He loves it.

While the saw does cut wood, the laser was not lined up, and upon adjusting it, the mount snapped off (made of plastic). Also, the dust collection bag behind the saw does absolutely nothing to catch anything, but appears to be only for decoration purposes. I should have spent just a little more money and ordered a DeWalt from Menards.

This saw has been such a disappointment from Day One when I first got it. First, it came with a broken laser guide that flickered when you turned it on. Next, no extension bars on the sides. Plus there is a lot of flex in the saw. So much so that I can lightly push it side to side and it would deflect 1/8 inch per side. Also, it would not cut completely through a 2x4 even with the depth adjustment fully down. Perhaps I got a bad one, so I bought two more of these. The other two had lasers that worked fine, but neither could completely cut through 2x4's. I'm not trying any more. This is at best a saw for rough cutting or framing, definitely not for any finish work. I know that all saws will deflect if you push it on it hard enough, but this one has horrible deflection - this same brand's 12-inch sliding saw has (even with the slide at full extension) substantially less.

Terrible Quality. One expects accuracy from a Miter Saw. This saw had a lot of flex when using. Also table extensions missing. Saw appeared to have been previously sold, used, somewhat repacked and shipped to me. Would no purchase again.

This saw was not any thing like what I ordered. It had no miter adjustment knob on the front, No side extension rails as shown in the picture. The Fence could not be adjusted to be square with the blade. It would not fully cut through a 2x4. Don't buy this saw. This company has deceptive advertising. This is a cheap tool but really, no excuse for not showing the latest picture of the product. I got the impression they could care less about the customer!

This is a great saw for the money! I am a contractor and can say that this is a great homeowner saw.
