I've installed maybe 6 or 7 ceiling fans in the past. This one is not overly difficult to install and once installed, it is whisper quiet and it did not wobble, at all, in any of the 3 selectable speeds. This fan should probably be marketed as a commercial product. It is very industrial looking. The black matte finish is rough to the touch with a coarse, sandy finish. I can only imagine that it's going to become something of a dust magnet. My 8-year old Hampton Bay ceiling fan, which I’m replacing with this one, had quick-connect fan blades. Cleaning them was a simple 5-minute task. No vacuum cleaner needed. I thought, what a great invention and I really thought that by now quick-connect fan blades would be the industry-standard. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The ABS plastic fan blades for this fan are not quick-connect and they are not reversible. Many other fans provide blades that are reversible so as to provide for a second color option. The fan comes with a single down tube. Other fans that I've installed provided 2 different length down tubes. Others have also allowed for down-tube installation or flush-mount installation. This fan does not allow for flush-mount installation. The LED light gives off a warm kind of light but it's overly bright for a living room installation. I would be able to dim the light had the remote-control been included with the fan but the remote is only available at an additional cost. What is this company thinking? Finally, I'm not an incurable tree-hugger but I would like to see at least some green packaging. There are a lot of plastic bags and two large pieces of Styrofoam that are heading for the landfill. Once the fan was installed, I was generally happy with the appearance of it however, given the various shortcomings and the rather lofty cost, I can not recommend this fan to others.

Would be great if the light intensity could be changed. And it might with a remote, I don’t know, because we are using the pull chain. For a porch, sometimes you just need soft light. Fan works good.

As a middle grade Ceiling Fan, I would rate it overall as GOOD, close to excellent, but not quite there. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow, with all appropriate safety notes included. The Fan installation required about 60 minutes of time, but could be done quicker if you cut down on the coffee breaks. Quality of the Fan parts appears to be very good, and I did note the shipping did not cause marks or damage. The longevity of the Fan's motor will have to be proven by use/time - it is quiet. My delay in the Fan's installation was caused by my attempt to center the Fan's patio ceiling location. I ran into cross connecting wooden supports, and by the time I realized the adjustment needed, the Fan's ceiling mount would not cover the hole. I found a ceiling mount accessory (9" diameter) which would cover-up my error. Painted it flat black to closely match the Fan's color and all was good.
