These are good value and work just as expected. They last well but are inexpensive enough to consider disposable.

You're better off painting with your bare hands
These rollers soak up a lot of paint, but hardly lay any on the walls. You have to apply an obscene amount of pressure in order to get them to lay down an even layer of paint. They're also filled with dark fluff that's stuck in my walls now. I initially thought maybe I didn't wash a wall well enough, but then the fluff released in the middle of the wall, so I know it originated from the roller itself. There's more paint on me than the walls. Absolutely absurd.

Fibers everywhere
These rollers left many fibers on the wall. We rinsed them, spun them to dry (as per instructions) & even wiped them with a dry cloth. Extremely disappointed with the product that has now led to more unnecessary work to finish the project.

Ruined wall
This roller doesnt deserve any stars! Left lint from the brush roller all over my wall I had 2 coats of primer on. Now I have to sand the entire wall, buy more primer, reapply primer, drive back to neighboring town to return these, buy more paint, paint rollers, paint tray and take another day to finish my project..these are CRAP!!

Trash
Leaves fibers everywhere. Truly awful. Would recommend to no one. Not sure what it says better. Maybe better than painting with sandpaper.

Used this on new cinder block and the thicker nap worked great. It applied the paint very well on the rough and porous surface and made the job easier. With the thick nap, it absorbs more paint so I recommend putting the roller in a bag and freezing it overnight so you save some paint.

Use this on a concrete floor and the thicker nap worked great. It applied the paint very well on the somewhat rough surface and made the job easier. With the thicker nap, it absorbs more paint so I recommend putting the roller in a bag and freezing it overnight so you save some paint as opposed to using a new or cleaned roller that reabsorbs paint.

Better than What??
These are so awful. So many little fibers shed onto a piece of furniture I am refinishing that I literally want to just throw the whole thing in the trash. The first go around I didn't "prep" it like the package said to. Once that layer dried, I had to sand out all the fibers. The second go around I prepped a new one and it was just as bad as the first time without prepping. Seriously don't waste your money on these.

Lost so many fibers that I had to sand, re-mud, and sand again. This product is useless for its intended purpose.
If this is "better", I cannot imagine what it is better than?? I am busy, have multiple projects going at any time, and cannot afford to spend triple the time redoing my work because of a faulty product.

SHEADS LIKE CRAZY
The roller left little hairs along the painted wall. Completely unacceptable that’s these rollers had to be “prepped” especially when not stated on the package. No way to go in to remove the hundreds of lint fibers from one stroke. Completely ruined the portion of the wall. 100% worth it to buy Purdy. Complete waste of money, time and effort. Can’t believe these haven’t been removed from the shelves.

We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with this product. Knit roller covers will always have some shedding, which is why we only recommend these covers for low sheen paints. For a smoother and low or no shed finish, please consider the BEST branded roller covers. Thanks,

Waste of time and money. Get ready for more work if you use them
I’ve used this brand a few times. Not sure if something changed but the fibers fall out into the paint. I now will have to sand my wall once it dries. Its so bad that I had to throw away all my paint that was in the tray because of how many fibers fell out. I had bought a 3 pack. Checked the other two and the fibers literally just fall off. I attached a picture. This product has cost me time and money. Would never recommend.

Poor product
I've always used a wood quality roller cover. I grabbed these for a job and now have to repaint 3 walls due to a lot of dried fuzz. I have never had a roller cover leave this much fuzz in the paint. I will never use these again.

Lots of roller lint
Would not recommend this unless you don't care what the end result is. I thought we had bubbling in the paint and we did an extra coat. It was the rollers, brand new ones being used on the wall, shedding everywhere. I don't see why Home Depot would carry a product like this with the most common issue being poor quality. Spend the extra few bucks and get a better set.

We are sorry to hear about your bad experience with our roller covers. Unfortunately knit roller covers (especially lower to medium priced ones) will always have at least some shedding. The recommendation on the package is to use these "Better" rollers for lower sheen paints because they have less tendency to show any fibers in the paint, whereas glossier paints will show more flaws or imperfections in the surface or the finish. Rinsing the rollers out before the first use will help reduce any shedding, but your best bet is always to look for the package that calls out your specific project - type of paint (latex, oil), sheen of paint (flat, semigloss, etc), and type of surface (smooth, rough, etc). This will match the best applicator for your specific job. Thanks for your feedback.

Painting my remodel job
I have been working on remodeling a 1967 trailer for a year now and still have a bit to go but the kitchen is almost complete all I need now is backsplash and a hood for my store. Since it is just a trailer I haven't really put to much money into it but a lot of personal time and labor. I have included the before picture to show you what I had to work with. And the painted picture.

Does a great job!
I have very roughly textured walls that require a thick nap roller. This one does the job of filling most of the indentations although I did have to go back to touch up a few that I overlooked due to poor lighting. I could not
blame the roller. Because I had so much square footage to cover, I was unable to do it all in one day so I
wrapped the roller very tightly in plastic wrap until the next day when I resumed the job.

Great coverage for me!
I loved these rollers. I was putting 3 colors in one room. When I would finish one I would put it and the roller in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. Then the next. If I did need to redo a coat. ( only on one wall this time) I took it out and was able to use it again just like that. When I was finished they easily came off the roller. It worked perfect for me.
