Great texture application roller

Perfect! Used it to knockdown texture a Bathroom! Worked Great!!

Helped me blend in texture with existing texture..used all-purpose mud watered dn, basically Into a very very thick paint consistency..rolled it on and flatted texture with the texture knock dn tool..handy tool for small to medium patch job..

I did exactly what I needed

Just finished my project with some helpful notes. The texture from this roller is very small and doesn't give you a "splattered" look. So if you are trying to match walls (like I did), you will not be successful. The texture comes off small with a pinpoint finish. It will probably take 4x the amount of time to roll vs. machine and requires a lot of rolling per 2x2 area. Once you get one wall completely covered, go back with a dry/thick nap roller to knock down the points to your liking. I was happy with the ease, but it was very time consuming.

We took out a section of drywall to install some new plumbing. After replacing the drywall section, I treated the cut line as if it were just a large crack. I used a putty knife and jammed a couple of layers of drywall mud into the crack. Sanded that down a bit then rolled a texture coat over the whole wall. Used some thinned mud and one of these rollers. Worked pretty good, and easy too.

Does NOT work for roll on bedliner.

OK if you intend to accept the 5 star ratings and photos submitted. Anyone can pack muck onto a wall or ceiling and call it an improvement. Roller doesn’t absorb material and splatters it everywhere. Creates a disastrous mess without any uniform pattern. Don’t recommend.

It gave me the effects I wanted. I Did not like the excess splatter. Make sure everything is thoroughly covered before using. I would recommend this product.

Provided the consistent texture I was looking for. The roller is study and is easy to clean.

We wanted a texture ceiling and the Goop Loop roller was helpful, of course the downside was that it was a messier job since the roller needed to be well saturated, and then would spin off paint while rolling. We finished the job and were satisfied with the result.

I was able to match the texture of my wall with this roller.
