Handy small trim router

There are so many good reviews for this router and so many YouTube videos about how good it is, but I’ve purchased it three times and returned it three times. It’s great in concept and has comparable power to other pro brands, but each one had an issue where the base was extremely difficult to adjust. The tension on the fixed base is too tight around the plastic housing of the router. Macro adjust is difficult, but micro adjust is nearly impossible. Maybe I got duds, but I’m not trying it again.

Beats corded by a long haul in versatility and ease. No power drops compared to a few name brand corded routers either. Didn't experience any slow down, burns or unsteadyness in both hard and softwood.

Nice router especially considering it was free. Nice to not have to pull out the big monster router. Does come with a router bit also.

Great for doing small jobs. Have not tried on anything else other than rounding some edges.

Works great for refacing no cords to deal with plenty enough power but it’s too easy to accidentally hit the switch and turn it off when changing grip.

Switch is bad I'm going to have to go back and get it warrantied

this compact router has power. It comes as a bare tool with different base and bit. I have throughly enjoyed this product.

Preformed beautifully and no issues so far. Do have to keep in mind where the power button is as it’s easy to bump OFF. Impossible to bump on as you have to pull it out so that’s nice.

I picked this sander up a couple of weeks ago to perform a job that was not close to any power outlets and I figured it would be better than buying a 100' extension cord. I already have the corded version and I was curious to see how it stacked up. I have to say it has every bit the same power of its corded cousin and with a 4ah battery I was able to finish sanding the whole project ( 1 wall of my garage worth of sanding) without using the battery up. Overall I couldn't be happier.

I bought it. I have a lot of rigid tools this by far is the most disappointed stopped working after 10 minutes gonna try to get replacement under the warranty, but I was not able to use it when I needed it.

First one died in 40 minutes but a replacement has gone strong for about 10 hrs. Bagger works better than any I’ve seen- I have a shop vac but not using it with this sander. Love it!

I have used it on the job and at home and it works well. It is lightweight and powerful for finish sanding. If you like corded palm sanders this one is a suitable battery powered replacement

Works well last with full charge.

I used it for first time and the router performed flawlessly. And the Ridgid Battery performed excellently. It was a dream to use my compact router without having a cord constantly in the way of Maneuvering my router around a work piece.

I find it very handy for small router jobs.
