I'm a Milwaukee guy. However sometimes it's hard to justify spending so much on a tool I know I'm only going to use a few times a year, but I also don't want some freight companies garbage either. Used this in conjunction with a 6amp battery on some Hi-Macs countertop material. Worked flawless.

I am very happy with my cordless router. Plenty of power and enough heft to help control the torque great product

so unhappy with this purchase. Every time I rtry and do an ogee edge to 1" knotty pine it stalls. Have to turn it off then back on again. This is on a fully charged battery. Have to go back to my wired one so I am stuck with this recent purchase. Only good thing is I got a free battery with it.

This thing has been great so far. Its nice vs my very large router for handheld stuff. Now i dont need to take the other one off the table mount. The power seems great, battery life is pretty decent, its light, and minimal dust with vacuum. Ire really needs to improve on the god awful on/off switch, i bump it, gets in the way of holding it, and is hard to grab to pull out. The adjuster is also not super smooth and could use an improvement.

Bought it to cut out door hinges - works great - great buy - got it combo deal with battery and charger.

Just received it last week and I haven’t used it yet don’t rush for reviews be patient if it works out I’ll let you know. It turns on with no problems.

This is a nice little tool and a great addition to my growing collection of Ridgid cordless tools. The cons of this tool are that the fine adjustment dial is hard to turn because of how deeply it is recessed into the tool and with all of the small pieces that come with it it would be nice if it came with a storage bag. The pros are that it's lightweight and powerful and that it doesn't have a cord to get tangled up in. Overall I'm really happy with it and always try to find an excuse to use it.

Just bought the unit today. Obviously haven't yet tried to use it, but was a bit disappointed that the manual has very little information on the accessories and where it does the explanations are hard to find and decipher. Love to see just a little more imagery. It feels like the product package designer was give too strict a demand to make the package very small and omit handy how to assemble, how to use sorts of information. Not really a big gripe, but I didn't feel like I needed to spend so much time just figuring out how to install the dust collector.

Ridgid tools have a very good track record of reliability and performance (I have some other tools). I have not yet used this tool but, out of the box, it ran well initially and the lifetime warranty will be perfect.

Purchased this to replace my Ryobi version. At first I loved it. Great feel, control and variable speed control is amazing. First sanding outdoors (25 degrees) it shutoff after a minute. Thought it could be due to the cold. Brought it indoors and it still shutoff. Tested with no load it ran fine for 5 mins. Then tried sanding without the slight downward press I normally use and it ran for 5 minutes before shutting off. Tool wasn’t hot at all. Will return and update after.

This is my 1st Ridgid tool. I bought it because of it's size, and it's price. And I used it for the 1st time today, and I freaking love it. The adjustments are sweet, it's easy to use, and I recommend this tool for any and every carpenter.

This is a very good router, has great power, easy to handle, I highly recommend this to anyone.
