Get it!!
Easy to use and turned out PERFECTLY !! Not drippy if you minimize the amount of water. Also, if you just want a, "light" limewash effect, (The original stone visible.) increase the water ratio to 80% water: 20% romabio. I did that vs. wiping most of the product off. (Which wastes time and money.)

Hello. We are glad you got good results. What you're describing is a dilution of 400%. We have to remind folks that overdiluting the Classico Limewash will certainly get you the look you want but when you saturate the binders, the paint won't last as long as there's very little left to hold it in place. Romabio does have lime paints that can be diluted up to 300% to achieve the same look without sacrificing durability. Visit romabio.com for more info on all our different products.

Easy and beautiful
I’m finishing my entire house using the Avorio White. Mixing at a 1:1 ratio and slapping it on the house with a paintbrush. It’s time consuming, but yhe product is extremely easy to work with. I am a first time painter.

We needed a second tub to finish the job. The second tub was a completely different color. The tub had a label showing Nube Gray but it was covering another label. My husband didn’t notice it, but I sure did. The house now has 2 different colors of lime washed stone that needs to be fixed! Annoying.

After painting big stains are a problem
I was excited about this product going in but was frustrated at the amount you need to limewash a small house with textured bricks. I thought id only need $300 worth but spent $1,000 on limewash. After limewashing i was taping the windows for trim detailing and the wet paper left a recurring stain that keeps coming back.

Hello. We are very sorry your experience wasn't ideal. The texture and absorbency of brick/stone and how much you dilute it can be big factors in determining how much product you need. Our estimates are based on the averages but there are always those that may need more or less. As for the staining, Classico Limewash won't stick to surfaces that aren't absorbent AND natural so its surprising. So easy even I did it
So normally I have to do things 3 times before I get it right. With this, I think I got it the 1st time! Really easy to paint on, wipe/spray off & clean up. Im so happy! I used Bianco white as I wanted it the bright white so as to match the walls. It brightened up my whole living room. Definitely the right choice! BTW - I used a quart & have alot left over. $35 paint + an old brush-boom! Saved alot of $

It Does What It Says It Does

Changed the whole look of our home
This stuff is awesome, really easy to use! Looks great. We did it one of the last nice days of fall before the temp dropped below 50 on the exterior of our home and it looks so great! We couldn’t be happier. I did need two of the .67 to cover the front, I could have maybe gotten away with watering it down more but we need it to withstand the elements, so thicker felt safer.

Fireplace overhaul
For the price, this product/project was the best decision for updating this nasty old dirty looking fireplace. It took 1 full day beginning to end, including prep and cleanup. I went a little thicker with the product, as I wanted more white without the tan stones showing through much. Add less water for more white, add more water for a more transparent look. Very happy with the product!

Awesome results and super easy to apply!
I hand painted my house in about 4hrs each side. Like the other reviewers mentioned, it’s super easy and fast to apply. (I watched few YouTube videos from the company) we wrapped the columns with cedar wood, changed the front doors, my husband made the shutters and painted it and trims gunmetal color. Then planted lots of flowers. We love the new look!

Easy to use lime whitewash with incredible results.
I used this product for my brick floor to ceiling fireplace, and it turned out great. It is very easy to use and produced the exact look i was going for. A little goes a long way. I applied it with a sponge and then blotted with the same sponge after spraying with a water bottle. I achieved a distressed finish that looks natural and rustic.

You better like it because it DOES NOT COME OFF
I tried this because it said it can be powerwashed off within 5 days. So I used as directed (a little more diluted than 50/50) on a section of our multi-tone brick exterior, was not sure about it, and tried 3 times in 5 days to remove with a power sprayer on highest setting, brick by brick over hours - and it never fully came off. There is a gray color over it now.
SEE PHOTO - after 3 power washings!
I will have to cover it all now. Can’t go back! Giving it 3 stars cuz it does look good.

Once the ratio of paint to water was well established,...
Once the ratio of paint to water was well established, it was good consistency. Only one side of house needed partial fix up as colors were not evenly matched where we had to paint on separate days. It was easy to apply to get the vague brick underneath color to still show through some for washed out ‘antiqueish’ look not requiring to hose some paint off which saved time & gave better even appearance. The beige looks more yellow right now, hence only 4 stars. Really hoping it will get better with time & weather.

Results. That’s What You’ll Get!
So I don’t usually write reviews. I was skeptical but wanted an overall natural look to get rid of the “Arizona Vibe” color pallet that I have hated it since we bought the place last year. Crazy what a little color can do. I’m so impressed with how well this paint turned out. Nube Gray is the perfect color. We have a light yellowish beige siding that matched perfectly. We did use a regular brush and didn’t paint the grout to break it up. Still a lot more to do, but, couldn’t be happier.

Very easy product to use. No smell and you can go back and distress it as much as you want. It really changed the look and updated my outdated 80's peachy stone fireplace to a beautiful neutral white stone! I used Avorio white. Highly recommend this product for brick or stone refresh/update.

easy to use, easy cleanup
this was much easier to work with than traditional paint. I added 50% water like the directions said, mixed it well, and then applied with a large masonry brush. it took around an hour and a half to apply to my entire fireplace, and then I let it dry for a bit and went over it with a spray bottle and a sponge. I really like the results. it definitely improved the look of our formerly very brown fireplace.

Love it
It was a scary thing for me to do. Once i got past the fear and just did it, i wondered why i waited so long. It was very easy to limewash my ugly brick fireplace! Did it myself. So much better of a finish than using paint. Turned out beautiful! I used half of a container on my fireplace. Goes so well with my repose grey walls
