You might want to ask me to review this product in the winter time when we have snow to shuvel

I only bought mine a few months ago and within about a month, the snow thrower started to slip whenever I use it in high mode so right now I can only use it in low mode and it doesn't throw snow very far. however the snow thrower is so heavy that it's exhausting to use it for even a set of six large stairs. we ended up going back to using a regular shovel because this thing was just not what we imagined it would be. if this had the wheels like the standalone product it would be much better.

It’s a little on the heavy side.

Nice concept just doesn't work well enough . Easier with a shovel.

This is a good investment if you don't like shoveling. I'm happy with it.

It is heavier than expected. It has more power than expected..it does not cut out or quite. It shoots the snow farther than I expected....but I lift the unit high..so it shoots more straight ahead. By design, it shoots the snow up in the air.....much more than I need it to. Works well in fluffy snow, or wet heavy snow.

Worked ok for 15 minutes, only 3 to 4 inches of snow, then rotor quit rotating to throw snow. Will be returning to store.

Bought it in October and no snow until end of February. Got about three inches. Tried it and it quits after 20 seconds. Changed batteries, no luck. Tried to only take a small portion off and still quit. Maybe it cannot handle heavy snow but even if I run it without snow it quits. $140.00 down the drain

Hard to push without wheels

It is a very poor design, you have to use it like a weed whacker which makes it too heavy and awkward.

The snow thrower works as advertised. It was easy to install and use. The best thing is that it has a very small footprint in my garage. Also, it is much better than a shovel. It would be nice if there were an attachment that could direct the snow to the left or to the right.

This does the job it’s designed for. It’s great for snow up to 6”. It only throws snow forward so it’s best used going sideways across driveways and wide surfaces like patios. My only complaint is the extra handle does not attach tightly to the main unit from my Ryobi line trimmer.

Works great! So much easier and faster than shoveling the driveway. Takes a bit to know how to angle it to keep from throwing snow back on area just done.

Ordered this mostly to clear off steps, decks and narrow walkpaths. I have to say I'm impressed with the distance it throws snow. Works just as advertised but also on the heavy end.

Its ok. Maybe should have got the one with wheels?

Works well on cold, dry, fluffy snow. Lacks a way to direct snow to the sides which would be helpful.

Junk broke the first time I used it.

Really easy to use, removes a decent amount of snow, you need to remember that you are just throwing it in front of you, so it is not for clearing out a drive way, but if you just want a clear path for the delivery man to reach your front door, it does the work.

We’ll I was concerned it wouldn’t work on anything but light fluffy sno BUT…we had 6” of wet snow a couple days ago and it went right through it and thru it in the air 20ft. Hopefully it lasts

Works great. Reason for 4 stars is snow blows out forward only. So unless you hold it at an angle, you will blow some snow onto what you already cleared. Would be great if there was an angle deflector to be able to direct snow to the side more. Otherwise, attached to my 40v electric power head and cleared sidewalk for the whole block!

iT moves the snow but not real clean

I’ve needed a little extra help with this winter’s deep snows in northern Minnesota. I prefer to manually shovel when the snow depth and weight are manageable. However, the snowbanks along the edges of the driveway force me to lift and toss the snow higher than most winters. So I manually push the snow to one side of the driveway, then use this tool to toss it all over the snowbanks. This tool has also been extremely helpful for clearing my deck and small sidewalk to my front steps. (For snowfalls greater than 4-6”, I typically use my big snowblower which is the right tool for that job.) Complaints: I wish I could control the direction the snow is tossed, but I manage fine. I have been unable to securely attach the curved handle attachment, so it rotates 90 degrees while I use it. It is not ergonomic — I find myself stooping to use it, and my right wrist hurts from supporting the upper section while holding in the trigger. A trigger lock would be helpful. The weight distribution leaves something to be desired. It gets pretty heavy supporting the top end with the battery, and the bottom end is comparatively light. The unit works very well and can handle a surprising amount of snow. However, I would give it 3.5 stars if I could just because of the significant discomfort I experience when using it.

Works fine, would be nice if it had an attachment to shoot off to the side instead of Straight forward.

seems to heavy in weight

To This point my RYOBI snow thrower has worked to my expectations. After reading the reviews I have used it carefully and have had no problems. My battery lasts plenty long enough for my applications. So far we have only had heavy wet snow to blow. But works fine. Should be a breeze with light weight snow.
