Takes more energy to hold the trigger down than to just scrub what you need to by hand. Word of advice for this tool - DON'T. DON'T, DON'T, DON'T.

wish it was faster rpm. variable or 2 speed would be nice.

Need to clean patio pavers and don't want to pressure out polymeric sand so figured this was a good option. It appears to be well put together but turns at a slower rpm than I thought. It appears to scrub decent but I just feel if it spun faster would work better. On/off button is manageable but I was goin to ask my 83 yo father to help me clean patio and I know he will struggle with this.

I love Ryobi tools, I have many. That being said, though, this scrubber isn't strong enough. It needs more torque and higher rpms, period. That, plus the fact that the trigger is so stiff that it's hard to hold for more than a minute, makes this a not so good buy.

This brush works amazing for like 30 minutes and then it breaks. I've bought 3 of them the 2nd one I returned almost immediately because it was pretty much dead on arrival. I feel like the motor for the brush isn't built to withstand getting wet, and well it's a scrubber... so it's going to get wet. After exposure to liquid (not submerging) the brush itself starts to have a difficult time trying to spin, almost like the battery is dying, and it doesn't have enough juice. Now I have tried all different size ryobi 18v batteries, new ones, right off the charger ones, etc. Maybe the length of travel for the juice to turn the brush makes it so 18v batteries are undersized for this brush. I love ryobi products, but this brush is a massive miss from them, and I would definitely pass. I only reviewed this because it came up while I was shopping for drill brush scrubbing attachments. And saw so many reviews, most of which and raving about it.

This is a real review.... I was really excited to buy this to go along with my other tools but when I used it I was very disappointed the head spends very slow with no variable speed... just single slow speed ...you're better off getting a regular Long reach scrubber so I returned it

Well, I think it's a good tool but could be much better if it had more torque, and definitely more rpm, possibly with a 40V battery. Definitely room for improvement with the trigger. If you have one of these you know what I'm talking about. All in all, I love Ryobi tools, but this one falls short of the mark.

This power scrubber was definitely a life and knee saver. Having to get on your knees to scrub baseboards is definitely a pain. This scrubber out performed all my expectations 100%. This RYOBI power scrubber is a definite 5 star.

I used it once and returned it. Might as well just use a scrub broom.

I have several Ryobi tools and mostly love them. I want to like the power scrubber, but can’t depress the power switch enough to keep it running, rendering it basically useless for seniors like me. I think Ryobi fails to consider those of us who are seniors or who have small hands. I have to ask for help when changing batteries on my other tools as my hands are too small. Now I can’t use the power scrubber. Come on, Ryobi, you can do better! If you can’t design an easier battery change system, at least develop a tool to help us do it. And work on the scrubber switch!

This was awesome. Used it to clean wooden beams at our church. Took all the dust off them.

great tool wish it had settings to turn off or on instead of pushing the button. Holding down the button will hurt your finger after 2 minutes.

It’s ok, but it doesn’t have any speed controls and it spins too slow for me.

I bought one of these to clean showers and tubs with, including some of the Ryobi scrubber heads for it. I used it lightly, letting the machine do the work, but it just totally stopped working. Ended up buying a second one thinking I'd just get the first one repaired because it was a fluke.. same thing happened while I was cleaning a bathtub. Just kept getting slower and slower and doesn't work at all any longer. I have other Ryobi scrubbers without issues. Avoid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome scrubber I bought this to scrub my weather tech floor mats that had been saturated with red clay min and dirt and were not coming clean. A little dawn dish soap and this thing made them look new again. Wife was so impressed I had to go buy other scrubbing heads so she can use it in walk in shower with out the back breaking of bending over to scrub the grout.

I bought this to clean my travel trailer. At 40' this scrubber saves your arms and muscles brom burnout.

Used it once so far immediately after getting it home to clean the shower stall. It's a little too long for confined space (and hence only 4 stars), appears to have adequate power, and otherwise handles OK
