[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ryobi, you just made my life so much easier with electric start! I can now begin cleaning without any problem. On my older washers, I had to get someone to crank and crank on the pull rope. With my electric start, I am sel-sufficient!

    Burst and broke
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought about a year before. Used it only about 5-10 times. One fine day the handle just burst badly.

      buy a better trigger assembly
First use and the trigger was floppy and stuck on full pressure. Disconnected the hose to check for debris to find the plug that holds in the spring to come flying out. It's a plastic plug that was stripped out and went flying. Can't find what I assume is a spring and ball bearing that fit inside.

        Easy and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old shed that seemed permanently stained is now white again. Very happy with the performance of this electric pressure washer. Recommend if you don’t want to deal with the hassle of gasoline and still want great performance.

          Exploded
Literally exploded when I powered on and shot the power button straight into my finger. Gasket blew out around the shroud that surrounds the powered button and launched 1 screw into space. Support wants me to exchange for a new unit, but why should I trust it when I almost lost a hand and eyes?

          Quite Pleased!

Literally the Worst Assembly Instructions Ever
I’m hoping the unit’s construction is better than the assembly instructions. Literally no guidance on installing the wheels or the assembly of the unit. The instructions also had a dead link to their website and there was no help on it when I eventually found the unit. If anyone knows what the mystery black string is used for please post.

              Powerful Electric Washer
The RYOBI 2700 PSI 1.1 GPM Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer is a powerful appliance to clean your outdoor area. The instructions to assemble were lacking and I had to guess the arrangement of the device parts from the pictures. It has a lengthy power cord and water hose so it is easy to use anywhere around the house. The water hose is coiled stiff so you need to unravel it straight to be able to use easier. The power of the spray is much better than the Ryobi battery models sold.

Good pressure washer with a few things that are annoying
I like this pressure washer but it had a few things when setting it up that were pretty annoying. First off It comes much more disassembled than the instructions show. You'll need to have a t30 Torx bit to put it together. Also, I'm not sure where the washer is supposed to go on the wheels because it doesn't say anything about it. Some of the letters are coming off of the adjustable nozzle and I've only used it once. Other than those things it's a great pressure washer. It's nice to not have to worry about gas, oil, and carburetors it just plugs in and goes. It's not as powerful as my gas one but this one turned on when that one wouldn't so that's a huge plus. I don't like having a power cable that I have to drag around but that's the price to pay for not having a combustion engine.

              Versatile and easy
This is a great pressure washer for me around the home. It was fairly simple to assemble, but the instructions leave a little to be desired as far as the wheels (no instruction) and other small attachments. The important connections are well covered in instructions, however. The operation is simple and with the 2 nozzles included - the turbo nozzle and the 5 in 1 nozzle - there are settings for any condition from relatively gentle cleaning to full blasting. The nozzles are quick connect making it very easy. There is onboard storage for the nozzles, hose, wand, and cord keeping it easy to store and move around.

Ryobi 2700 PSI Electric Pressure Washer
This electric pressure washer delivers a strong 2700 PSI at 1.1 gallons per minute. It is a nice strong pressure, and the turbo nozzle that it comes with does a great job at that pressure. The 5-in-one nozzle is also nice. It is one attachment with multiple nozzles that you can easily dial into place. A 15°, 25°, and 40° spray as well as a fan and a jet nozzle for the lower pressure soap dispensing mode. I like the “hand cart” frame design with large wheels which makes it easy to move around, and provides ample space for on-board storage of all the tools, nozzles, hose, wand and cord. Really long electric cord and 35 foot pressure hose lets you cover a lot of space easily. I’m pretty happy with this powerful electric power washer. It does a great job.

              Easy to use
I got this to replace an older pressure washer. I was not disappointed. The instructions are clear and it was easy to assemble. The wheels make all the difference when moving it around. My son was visiting and he had taken his ORV on a very muddy trail. The pressure washer blasted all the mud off easily. The soap dispenser is a plus. I plan to use this along with deck cleaner to clean all the mold and muck off my decks.

              Does the Job!
The first thing I noticed with this Ryobi power washer is its weight. To me, this indicates it to be substantially made. There is some assembly before the unit can be used, and I was VERY disappointed with the ‘quantity’ of the instructions. I would have liked to have seen a parts list. I had a friend help me, and we continually had to look at the photos and drawings to determine what went where. The operating instructions were also a bit scant, in my opinion, and as such this may not be the pressure washer for a first time user. I needed a 10mm wrench and a T25 Torx tool for the assembly (not included). With the unit plugged in, it draws 1 watt (probably for the GFCI circuitry). At an idle, with the motor running but not spraying, it drew about 450W. At full spray load, the washer consumed 1955 watts. I was surprised to see that the cord on this rig is 16 gauge. Ryobi wants the user to plug this into a circuit with nothing else on it, and I can see why. (I had it on a 20A circuit with the power company delivering 122V this day.) Ergonomically, I found the handle much too short for my 6’2” frame, and I had to bend over as I rolled the pressure washer about. The cleaning results were good for the pressure generated. It easily took tires marks off the concrete driveway. With the turbo nozzle (produces a rotary pattern), dog hair came out of my door mat quite well. I summary, I am pleased with this washer, but ding it one star for the lack of proper assembly and use instructions. Safety instructions were more than adequate.

              Another great pressure washer
This is my second electric pressure washer from Ryobi. I’ve had the first one, a slightly less PSI version for a couple of years and it has been running great. I picked up this model for some other bigger projects I have coming up, and so far I’m just as impressed. There is a noticeable difference in power, and at this point it’s really getting difficult to see the difference between gas and electric aside from the noise. The pressure washer itself was nearly assembled when it arrived, just a few things to attach and you’re ready to go. This is a great solution for any homeowner.

              120V Electric washer
I was disappointed when I started to assemble the washer. It came with hardly any assembly instructions. Also only came with four bolts for the holders on the handle and one nut! Getting the clips on the wheel shafts was a challenge but they will never come off! It also says it has a cord holder but does not show you how it is supposed to work, It has a built-in circuit breaker in the cord which is nice. Overall it works great and I like the multi-use tip that you can dial in what type of pressure you need to do the job.

Great cleaning power from an electric pressure washer!
This Ryobi 2700 PSI, 1.1 GPM, electric cold water pressure washer, replaces an older electric unit of mine that puts out 2100 PSI, which has proven to only be ample for more "lightweight" cleaning requirements. This new one with 2700 PSI, is more robust and should handle the more difficult jobs around my home (deck, vehicles and concrete patio pad) without doing damage that many more powerful gas power washers can do if not used carefully. It has a convenient, onboard detergent tank, turbo nozzle and a unique 5 in 1 quick adjustable nozzle. While I found this nozzle to be adequate and convenient to change spray patterns, I still prefer to use the interchangeable nozzles that come with many pressure washers or are available to purchase as a set. I tried it (with detergent in the tank) on both wood deck and concrete and it worked fine. I also attached my foam cannon to it and washed my vehicle-it worked fine there too. I did notice that the nozzle attachments did not fit tightly in the round rubber inserts on the handle (potential for them to be easily lost) and when assembling, you need a 6 point starred hex head bit to attach the handle (would have been easier to provide a bolt with a "standard head" so that more simple tools could be used.) This unit is powered by a brushless electric motor, which should make it last longer through repeated long sessions of use. It also carries a 3 year Limited Warranty, which I consider a definite plus.

              Great features
I selected this pressure washer for the many features I need. The telescoping wand is great and provides great reach. The water broom is something I’ve always wanted because pressure washing large areas like driveways and patios can be so tedious just using the wand. The water broom makes cleaning those large areas so much easier and faster. It can also be used as an under carriage cleaner.

              This is a cool rig
I got this to clean my vinyl siding on my home and clean up my concrete driveway. I am impressed with the pressure that this little rig puts out, its great. Its fairly compact and easy to hook up and un-hook, although I do recommend picking up some quick link hose attachments. It just makes it super simple. The hose length is plenty and give you a decent reach. I'm very pleased and given the quality that Ive experienced with Ryobi I'm sure this will be a huge help for years to come.

              Well Built!
I selected this pressure washer as a Christmas gift for my son. Overall we are very excited about it. The quality seems to be quite good for a price range under $400. I told him not to abuse it since the wheels look a little fragile. The assembly instructions we a bit lacking for a do it yourself owner but everything went together easily just the same. The hose is not looking extremely durable either but that was expected at this price. A high quality hose can run $80 on its own. Since it is December in Utah and temperatures are freezing we have not fired it up yet but I expect it to work very well. A few notes for those of you who have not owned a pressure washer: 1) This is not like a car wash. The soap dispenser only works with the soap tip which is low pressure (Think Pre-Soak mode) 2) You can still use it to wash a vehicle but you will want to pre-soak, then brush, then use a high pressure tip to rinse with. 3) Be careful with the more direct, narrow fan tips. This amount of pressure can tear a hole in vinyl siding or write your name on a redwood deck. Take the time to get to know your machine and it will serve you well. 4) I recommend keeping a little plumbers grease on the O-rings so that they don't get damaged.

              sturdy & compact
Sturdy & compact but yet good power, this pressure washer works well for me. The large wheels made it easy to go over uneven ground & curbs. The ports are readily accessible with sufficient cord & hose length. It would be nice to include a band for the electric cord like the one included for the hosing. Hosing does like to stay looped and kinked but I think this will be less of an issue after some use. We did use our own star bit and a crescent wrench for assembly. The instructions on assembly & running should definitely be improved; though it is reasonably self explanatory for the most part. Also you need to apply the soap by itself and then run the water jet. The turbo nossle works well and is the strongest jet though the 15 degree is close. It is easy to change the width/ strength of the water jet but you do need to reach down to the end of the wand to doe so. pictures below show how effective it was on a variety of jobs.

The RYOBI 2700 PSI 1.1 GPM Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer is very precise. Weighing only 49 lbs., it does a heavy joy. Assembly and instructions is a snap. You get an electric powered power washer that gets the done fast without the noise of a gas engine. Comes with 3 nozzle tips that will cover every job. The Turbo nozzle is my tool of choice for stubborn stains. The Electronic Ignition is simple. Motor has ample power for continuous jobs. Connection Type: M22 Universal Threaded Twist On Hose & Trigger Handle. Uses only GPM: 1.1, so saves water. Included: Detergent tank, GFIC plug, Onboard cord storage, Onboard storage, Wheels

              Powerful and easy to use
I've always borrowed my neighbors gas power washer and decided to get one for myself. I decided on an electric motor for the convenience and storage. not need to add or drain gas and simple to start. I like the 5 in 1 adjustable head. It was easy to use, with two soap settings and 3 angle adjustments. The on board soap container is easier to use vs a hose that you insert in a separate bucket. The cord storage was convenient, but be sure to undo the entire hose before you attach it to the machine and sprayer. The large wheels made the unit easy to move around. The only issue was there was no setup instructions on how to attach the wheels, not a big seal but it might be helpful. I used it to clean up lawn furniture, it got off all the mold and mildew. This spring I'm going to paint my deck so excited to try this out. I will probable purchase the add on washer surface cleaner.

              Powerful
This pressure washer is easy to put together well-made unit. It is powerful enough for almost any task at 1.1 gallons per minute and 2700 P.S.I. I like the long reach of the 35-foot hose and the longevity of the brushless motor. This pressure washer comes with an all-metal wand and an onboard soap tank. Overall, this pressure washer cleans the driveway, lawn furniture and washes the car quickly, plus it starts with just the push of a button.

              Best of Both Worlds
I once had a gas powered pressure washer. While it was powerful, it also was heavy, noisy, temperamental (gas, oil, starter cord, etc.). I wasn’t unhappy to leave it behind when I moved. This Ryobi PW is the best of both worlds - powerful and electric. Especially with an efficient brushless induction motor. Construction is excellent and well thought out. It comes complete and has a tank for soap. The only maintenance, really, is to insure the pump does not contain water if you are going to leave it or store it outside if temperatures go below freezing. Also, it’s a good idea to use a pump conditioning solution to keep the inners from corrosion. Well recommended.

              Excellent product!!!
We have several Ryobi products. Including a battery operated snow blower!! Thankfully we don’t need to use it all that often due to where we live but it is reliable and does a great job As for the pressure washer, we are replacing our old Ryobi pressure washer with this one. Our old one we used often for several years and the parts just slowly gave out this model It is much more powerful and seems built for a heavier use. I’m very pleased with this product

              Broke after 3rd use
Like several others have reported, mine broke after 3rd use. I was actually able to use it for 2-3 minutes then suddenly the water pressure dropped significantly. I tried everything - good water pressure from water supply (check), no kinks or blockages in the hose (check), clean filter (check), clean nozzle (check)...... I was happy with it the first 2 times. I'm extremely disappointed that it would stop working so quickly. I'm going to call their customer support to see what they can do.

Broke after 1 hour of usage
1st time used for 45 min, no issues. 2nd time, the whole thing shut off after 15 minutes. The GFIC plug keeps tripping after 5 seconds of plugging into an outlet. I tried 3 different outlets as suggested, each outlet has its own 20amp circuit breaker. The power cable is 16AWG which is rated for 13amp NOT 15 or 20amp as suggested. This product is NOT eligible for online support. On the phone holding for 45 minutes so far. Extremely disappointed and inconvenience.
