The string trimmer works great. Blower is just ok. But I'll keep them.

Great deal with blower, has equivalent power to gas models. Battery lasted enough to edge and trim yard 3 times on single charge.

As a female doing her own yard, I needed something easy to use. You can't get any easier than this trimmer and blower. Haven't had to adjust/fix anything yet so not sure how that will go down. I gave it a 4 star mainly because a new battery will cost just about as much as purchasing a new trimmer.

I have a very hard time wielding “grass trimmers” especially gas powered. I’m a 40-something single mom, & I do my own yard, a large corner lot w/ many linear ft of grass edge. I love this trimmer! It’s not “light”, but manageable. My only complaint is how quickly it goes through string ...

The trimmer and blower both have plenty of power to do the job. The battery lasts long enough to do my yard and clean up the mess.

Does a great job without the aggravating gas engine noise. Battery run time is less than I expected but still good.

Only used it once so far, charged it up to full and started weed eating. Cuts great and I also use it for edging. I ran it for about 20-25 min. When I put the battery in the blower, the battery went a little low had to pull out the electric one. The weed eater is strong , hadn't edged in 2 weeks and it went through it like it was nothing. looking forward to using it again.

Love the RYOBI battery operated equipment. It is light and easy to use. I am 5' 3.5 inches tall and weight 128 lbs. It is important for me to be able to comfortably be able to use the lawn equipment. I also purchased the RYOBI self propelled lawn mower and I LOVE IT!

Excellent product so far. Wish the battery lasted longer, but it weed eats great. Edger also works great. Bought a 3mah battery as a backup and it give about 45 minutes of charge. Wish it would charge faster though. Take about 2.5 hours to recharge.

I purchased the weed eater/edger. The weed eater greatly exceeded my expectations. I used the 4 amp battery. It lasted about an hour. I used it to cut down grass too tall for my mower. I never had to take it off the low setting. Only neg - with the tall grass, I had to untangle the head a bit.

Great unit. Battery holds enough charge for me to trim and also use the Jet Fan Blower. Using the turbo boost button a lot on Blower, I would have liked a different design to make it a little easier.

Great power, etc. but NEVER ever buy a combo right now. Ryobi basically sells an entire tool for approximately 10.00 over price of a battery. You need two batteries to have on hand and later on. If you buy a combo with two or more tools with one battery you have basically grossly overpaid since baying two separate tools with a battery and charger for themselves will cost you only around 10.00 more than the price of a battery alone. Ryobi's CS line stinks when I called to ask about it because they have more customers than they can handle.. A direct quote from their CS department. Fortunately when I went back to Home Depot to point out this glaring error in packaging of a product and was going to turn my product in and buy two tools both with their own battery, Home Depot negotiated with me on a second battery.

I love the Trimmer as it meets all of my needs. It is nice not to worry about mixing gas and crossing my fingers that it will start. The overall battery life is timed out perfect for all my lawn maintenance needs. The blower is kind of heavier than expected, but I'm sure I will get used to it. I would highly recommend these products.

Works great for me. No problem edging and weedeating my standard size suburban lot. Real nice to just plug in a battery and go to work. No starting, no gas.

Everything was done well except that I did not get a receipt for the edger attachment. The attachment came in a taped up box (looked like it had been returned by another customer) without a receipt. I would like to have in case a I have to return it. Otherwise I am pleased.

I love these garden machines. So much easier and lighter than my gas powered equipment and work just as hard. I am able to get more work done because I don’t get tired of holding them up like I did my gas powered trimmer.

In summary its a light weight unit but works well for a typical home size. I have used this combination for two summers at a typical sized residential home with 70' of frontage. I replaced both gas trimmer and edger and I like the convenience of an electric motor - starts every time. I would not use this unit commercially or if you have a lot of property. Its meant for regular lawn maintenance. During the first edging in the spring I usually use at least a full charge and sometimes two depending on how overgrown the lawn is over the winter. My concern when deciding to purchase was how long the battery would last and I am on summer #3 using the original battery. I don't leave the battery on the charger and I also store it in my basement during the winter months - fully charged but, again, not on the charger.
