I actually liked the quality of the sander was nice to use and didn’t leave swirls on the small kitchen cabinet frame I was working on and it kept a good finish but with a new 1.5 amp hour battery I had to charge 3x to finish a very small project. Perhaps with a 4 or 6 amp hour battery it would have been more workable but I wasn’t willing to invest in them. Exchanged it for a corded model instead.

I was impressed, I install laminate countertops and use this tool occasionally to cut out sink wholes and odd ends. Speed and power are good. I received other Ryobi tools from my wife and daughter as well and am impressed. Good job Ryobi

I’m so excited to have this combo set!! The bag is is like a big duffel bag and fits all the tools and accessories. I have a ryobi weed eater and since the batteries weren’t charged I was able to use the weedeater battery on the tool pictured.

Let me start by saying this is a great buy. However the item description is wrong you receive 1 4.0 and 2 1.5 batteries. The tools are nice and work great. But it is misleading to the ones who base purchases off the description not the picture.

I've had this set for almost a month now. I have used ryobi tools in the past. Good starter kit for anyone. Yes it will last you if you take care of it. Saw is of course a 5 1/2" so takes time to get used to cutting ply without a edge guide. Only have used the Recip. Saw a few times but so far it gets the job done same for the Oscil. tool. Impact and drill are your standard impact and drill, great for the weekend warrior. In the beginning you might smell somewhat of a "burn" while using the tools, i'm sure thats just the Carbon Brushes "breaking in" it'll go away after a few uses. Lastly is the light. Honestly in the beginning that was the tool that i pretty much didn't think much of i mean its a flashlight. Well it surprised me and has a lot of didn't features as far as mounting and directional lighting. It is also bright as well. Like i said before its a good starter set and will pay itself off within a few projects. It does not come with the belt clips but you will be fine. Take what you want from this, i am an experienced tool tech so I am around tools alot. I do use other tools for my day job as a tech from other blue brands and only use this set for home and wood projects.

Bought this at a great price online and got 2 free 2 hour batteries! Every tool works smoothly and accurately. Lightweight and bag has lasted longer than expected. Used it to build 14 birdhouses and 7 tool boxes for Scout group. Only change I'd make would be to re-engineer the depth gauge securing knob/nut.

I usually don't give an excellent rating but the Ryobi 18 volt one deserves the 5 star. What I like is the sander, which equals in results of my corded much more expense random orbit sanders, frees me from the wall plug.

This is the perfect combo kit. It has all the essential tools needed for my building and repair projects. The instructions are easy to follow so assembly was super simple. l love that the tools are sturdy and the batteries hold a charge forever. The fact that the batteries are interchangeable is very convenient. I really enjoy using the impact driver and the drill. I have other Ryobi tools and the quality has proven to be exceptional. Ryobi has continued to meet my expectations. I will be purchasing more Ryobi tools very soon.

As a first time DIY, I’ve had every tool I needed to complete projects! The value of never having to borrow a tool is immeasurable! The very fact that I was able to do it all gives me pride! I feel like I can do anything now!! PS. Now I have friends asking to borrow MY tools!!! Lol

As a Ridge and Milwaukee fan I had my doubts and figured I would be returning it pretty fast. I must say I am very impressed, so much I have purchased another battery, caulk gun and tire inflator. I did not think I would be saying "Don't haste buying it, you will be impressed too"

What an incredible deal. It's difficult to find at the low price point but for the money I don't think any tool set can beat it. The saw cut right through my 1x4's and 2x4's. The oscillating tool even cut through formica. The reciprocating saw is great and the drill and impact driver work perfectly. It's one of my best purchases ever and I see myself using these tools for projects for years to come. If you're a DIY person, I really think this is the perfect tools set.

Started a full room remodel project and this kit has blown me away. Let me start by saying that I was a little worried at first due to the low price($199). I figured I'd give it a try anyway. I've used every tool with the exception on the flash light. They have all worked great. From cutting 2x4, 1x4, sheet rock, drilling through concrete, using concrete anchor screws, dry wall screws, ect... You get the point. The tools have just enough power to get things done. The battery life is great. All in all it's a great buy for the DIY'r. Once I finish the remodel I will be modifying my jon boat. Looking foward to that project.

Good product, does what it is supposed to do and has a consistent quality with other Ryobi products. Had to make a quick purchase and this fit the purpose. It will come in handy in the future.

This tool set is such an incredible value. I think it was the best tool purchase I ever made. I needed several tools to complete a large dock project and didn't want to use electricity near the water. For this reason alone, I would recommend that every contractor get this set at this price. The reciprocating saw worked great for trimming 14 4x4 posts in the water, the impact driver made screwing down the decking a breeze, the circular saw had plenty of power to trim the decking for that final cut. The multi-tool was a great surprise that I didn't expect to use so much. It was key for removing all the lumber marks on the decking and for smoothing the ladder steps and posts. Overall, I was very happy with this set and it provided very professional results and the safety I needed for working in the water. Great for any homeowner and a great value for any contractor to have as a backup set for use in any wet locations. I even had to use the cordless reciprocating saw to trim some 4x4 to fit in my car. It was great to have two battery packs in the set as I often used two tools at the same time like the drill and impact to countersink all the screw holes to prevent splintering, followed by the impact to screw in the decking. The flashlight was even a life saver when a bad storm took out the power one night. For this price, it's a great set to leave at your vacation home too! Thanks Ryobi.

Tools are light weight and very capable of doing the job. Just seems they heat up very quickly under heavy use and then shut down. Especially the reciprocating saw. Blade would jam up and I have to start the cut again. Circular saw is very weak, good for battery power but can't do what my corded Makita does. Still handy for quick light weight cuts but I wouldn't frame a house with it. Just finished removing and framing this wall with the tools in this kit

As a new DYI task master I found this combo to be the perfect fit for my two projects. I purchased the Ryobi 6 piece tool kit to help with a click lock engineered flooring installation project as well as for a privacy fence installation. I could not be more pleased with the quality and ease of use. The Ryobi brand built this product to last and I have used every bit of the tool kit and feel these tools will get much more use.

Drill and the impact driver that are packaged for $99 are okay. They will work fine for DIY mini projects. However, if you are looking for a cost efficient impact driver for automotive purposes like I was, look for a different option. I tried using for the bolts mounting my exhaust pipe to my exhaust manifold. The P235A driver lacks the torque required to remove bolts that are old and rusty. I even tried it with a ton of WD-40...Ended up returning the items and buying the the more expensive P261 which has twice the amount of torque at 3600 in lb (300 ft lb) vs 1800 in lb. P261 worked effortlessly. Hope this was helpful.

Great replacement for my 40-year old Craftsman scroll saw. First use was with a 24 tpi blade to cut a 1/8" thick metal decorative ring for my wood burning stove stovepipe. Worked great and did the job where a hacksaw couldn't be used. Next step was to cut a copper sheet background which the jig saw made quick work of. Got the jig saw as part of the June 2020 Ryobi 18-Volt One + promotion. T-style blade was easy to insert and lock. A nice switch from my 40-year old Craftsmen corded scroll saw that has seen a lot of use over the years. The Ryobi Jig Saw will now be my go-to tool for jig saw work. The jig saw is part of my ever growing group of Ryobi tools both corded and cordless.

This is an awesome set, I would definitely recommend this set, I have used it several times since I’ve gotten it, best Father’s Day gift ever, The day I got them out already put them to use putting in a new floor in my dining room, great product for the price you can’t beat it

This was a serious steal. I have been using these non-stop since I got them as an early fathers day gift. The battery life has been good. The impact driver has performed extremely well in assembling a work bench and installing a barn door rail. The multi perfectly notched out some trim for another project. Overall I have been very happy with these.
