    Do Not Buy
I purchased a Ryobi 2,900 pressure washer on3/08/20. I have used it about 10 times in total. Within the first two months, the pull cord snapped and I had to replace it. After the 5th or 6th time I used it, it started to lose power. It would not put out the same pressure that it came with. Recently, the pull cord ripped out of the flywheel that starts the engine. The plastic on the flywheel start has all broken and I cannot even get this started anymore. I am extremely unhappy with my purchase. I spentt a lot of money on this and expected it to last longer and more many more uses. Do not buy.

Wow, we were very impressed by this unit. It had plenty of power, yet is easy to move, and set up. We have a circular driveway that is quite large, with lots of trees, which leaves us with a lot of pollen as well. The last time we took a pressure washer to it, (a borrowed one,) it took 2 days, 4 hours per day, to get all the pollen cleaned off, and that was a more powerful unit. We did half the driveway yesterday and it took less than 2 hours. We didn't even need to add soap or bleach this time, but we did buy the Surface Cleaner attachment, and it made so much difference. Using just the regular fan nozzle last time was very slow and tedious. Using the Surface Cleaner cut our work time by more than half, it cleans a path of almost 15" in just 1 back and forth pass. We were pleasantly surprised by how easy this makes the job. Bottom line, really nice pressure washer at a reasonable price point. Buy the surface cleaner attachment, you'll save time, gas and money on cleaning solutions, definitely a must buy.

        Used Twice and Broke
I would also stay away from this product. I only was able to use it twice and had issues both times. First time I used it the hose blew out and the second time it seems a seal blew and grease went all over the place. I tried contacting the company 3 times over the last month or so. No answers via email or phone.

2 uses and it leaks oil, also heard an engine pop, yikes!
Stay away from this product. Oil leaks, and bad cap design. Was treating driveway with solvents to remove oil stains and pressure washing seemed to be the best method to rinse them out. I noticed new stains, and realized mines came with a leak. So not only did I get a shoddy product, I ended up worse off with more stains than before for which was one of the purposes the product was bought for. I suspect, but again I'm no expert that the black plastic oil snout leaks as it's very loose, with minimal tension I was able to pull it open.

            Hose broke!
We bought the Ryobi 2900 PSI gas pressure washer about 2 months ago. I only used it 4 times, about 1-2 hrs at a time. Last time I used it the yellow hose had obviously bended somehow and water started coming out of it! NOT HAPPY! I'm in my 60's female, not doing anything rough with it, just cleaning our driveway. The other thing is that you need to refuel is quite often, which is annoying. Starting is sometimes hard, wish it had a button to press, and not pulling it. :(

I was skeptical, but this thing is awesome!
Our Home Depot was out of the pressure washer I wanted, but I decided to take a chance on this one because of the reviews. Wow! Started one pull every time and I was able to clean my boat, driveway, patio, and boat cover much faster than my old pressure washer (2000 PSI). I also bought the driveway attachment (looks like a Roomba) and it works flawlessly!

                  Broken part
I barely used this washer since I about it about a year ago.. I would say about 6hrs of use. Today, I decided to power wash my front concrete stairs and noticed water gushing out by the pump area. It turns out what appears to be a pressure relief valve broke off. I feel bad for my low rating cause up until this piece got broken, machine worked perfectly fine with no issues. Given the rare use, am disappointed to see a part broke off.

Great product other then wheels wobble.
Product worked for what I needed it to since the 3300psi was out of stock near me. Only complaint I have is the wheels wobble alot and need to get an extension for the wand which was also out of stock.

                      Packaging - Broken parts
In opening the box and taking everything out a piece of broken plastic came out and I noticed it was the Holster that the wand is stored in. Also, the bag that had the oil in it had oil all over everything. There was a small puncture hole in the oil container that leaked. The product has worked great.

Does not have an onboard detergent tank, really a pain carrying outside container when repositioning washer. The wheels wobble.

                          Broken Hose
Bought this brand new, after first use I realize the hose was broken in 2 different spots. Disappointed. Overall is a decent power wash. Honestly I don’t see a big difference between this one and an electric power wash I had which cost me half the price if not less.

As a single woman, I hesitated to buy a gas operated pressure washer Bet yet' I needed the power of a gas, along with the convenience of not being plug into a electric socket either I needed to power wash my ceiling of my porch, so that it can be painted is why I needed a gas operated one I got quote to have someone one wash my side walks for $125.00 I figured by the time I buy a gas operated one, it would pay for it self by doing my own sidewalks, porch ceiling, and some wrought iron furniture., If I need help getting it stared I would just ask my neighbor to start if needed When my Ryobi gas 2900 PSI power was delivered I had it put together, gas / 4 cycle small engine Lubricate in my machine in maybe 20 mins Little hard to get the handle on properly Got it on well enough to use. It stated on my first try of pulling the rope I was totally amazed, Immediately started on my dirty side walk I have been using this now for three day's a couple of hours each day I even decided to power wash my privacy fence that hasn't been done in over 14 years that I have lived here It will take a few more to do all I want washed Best part I can do little at a time, and NOT pay anyone to do the work This machine will pay for it self Now had I gotten an electric power washer all this work I am doing would NOT had gotten done. If I had hired someone the fence would not had even gotten done either I also like that the washer nozzle is 5-1 you don't have to keep switching off,,, just turn the dial along with the 35 ft length high pressure hose was both that helped me to deiced on this machine I hope this encourages other women to purchase a gas instead of electric washer not be intimidated that you wont be able to start it up, If I can you can

I have pressure washed 2 houses, 1 carport roof, 1 side walk, and 2 small porches. I LOVE my pressure washer. You only have to attach the handle, hose, and washerwand. Add oil (comes with it) and gas. Cranks by the 3rd easy pull.

I haven't had any problems with this pressure washer so far. it's had plenty of power for what I've needed it to do. the only real problem I have is when using the soap nozzle there isn't enough back pressure to idle up the pressure washer. also I don't know if it's normal or not but water sprays out of the idle down cable when pressure washer is at full pressure. Ryobi has fixed the problem of units coming drenched in oil buy shipping the units dry and including a bottle of oil sealed in a bag.

Bolts backed out of pump within the first hour. Called Ryobi--they directed me to one of their local repair shops. The shop said that they did not do warranty work for Ryobi; the shop said to return the item to Home Depot. The HD refunded the purchase price. I bought the washer during a one-day on-line sale--I would have preferred an exchange. or discount on another model.

I was having the chimney rebuilt from the roof up. The mason's were going to stucco the rebuilt portion, and I wanted the lower section to have the stucco applied as well. To do that I needed to remove as mush paint as possible. The Ryobi power washer was my solution and it removed 97 percent of the paint.

The manual on page 13 states that these pressure washers are configured for operation below 2000 feet. This warning comes well after the instructions for startup. Most Home Depots in Colorado have no idea how to configure these for altitude. So, unless you live in Denver or are willing to transport the unit to Denver, DO NOT BUY!!! There should be a warning on the box and Home Depot stores in Colorado should post a warning.

I ordered the first one and had it delivered to the house but it arrived broken so I returned and ordered another to be delivered to the store instead and that one was fine. I opened the box and did an easy assembly. Added the oil and fuel. It started up on the first half pull. Tons of power and I love the idle down feature. I have only used it a few times but nothing bad to report.
